Welcome to Casa Mariposa, a newly remodeled private three-story home overlooking beautiful Banderas Bay. Located only 2 1/2 blocks from the beach on the residential street of Carmen Serdan, this home is ideal for all your vacation needs.
This 3000 square feet villa combines authentic Mexican architecture with color and elegant decor to give each room its own unique and distinctive character. The open, airy design and expansive windows throughout catch and circulate the cool, Pacific Ocean breezes. Fans in every room add extra comfort. Take advantage of the various lighting effects; brighten up the house for practical use or dim it down for those cozy, romantic evenings. Solar powered tiki torches around the patio and pool provide lovely late-night ambience.
Off the front entry is a full kitchen tiled in bright Talavera with an additional eating area. The dining room is equipped with a hand-carved wood table and 8 chairs. An archway connects the dining room and kitchen with a pass-through and breakfast bar. The living room has 2 full, plush custom-made couches with large sliding glass doors that open to the private pool and gardens. Read a book in the shade of our hand-woven palapa and fan, or drink a margarita poolside in one of the provided lounges.
The house has 4 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The first floor room with double bed has french doors that open to the pool and gardens. The second floor has 2 bedrooms. The first, with 2 twin beds, overlooks the pool. The second is a master suite with king-sized bed. This suite has windows spanning the entire length of the room, offering magnificent ocean views. The third floor has another master suite with king-sized bed and sliding glass doors that open to a spacious private balcony. Enjoy a sunrise or sunset with breathtaking panoramic views of the bay; stretching from Punta Mita to Puerto Vallarta.
The house is in short walking distance to everything Bucerias has to offer. Shop for groceries, browse the markets, or choose between the wide variety of delicious restaurants. If you feel like leaving this lazy, quiet oasis; it's only a 20 minute ride by bus or taxi to downtown Puerto Vallarta. A bus stop is conveniently located only 2 blocks from the house.
