Location: Los Barriles, Baja California Sur, Mexico (1Mile South of Los Barriles & 45 Mins from Los Cabos Airport)

Casita Del Mar is two one bedroom one bath beautifully designed casitas. which have been skillfully created in a Mexican tile motif by local craftsmen. There is a queen size bed as well as a queen size convertable bed in the living room area all of which together can comfortably accomodate up to 4 persons.
In addition to a queen size bed the bedroom has an armoire and a beautiful view across the patio to the beach and sunrises. We are on the beach and every room has a water view!
The kitchen and living room are combined for a more spacious feeling. You will have all the amenaties of a full kitchen including from the stovetop, oven and full refrigerator to the coffee maker and margarita blender! You will also find a microwave oven, toaster and lots of utensils. Additionally we provide a hair dryer and beach towels to help reduce the need for you to pack more "stuff" because of the new airline rules.
A colorful tiled bath has a shower/tub combo in addition to the sink and vanity.
The balcony/patio was designed to take full advantage of the comfortable living that we enjoy here in southern Baja. You will have 900 sq feet of covered indoor/outdoor living area plus a very large patio! You will find this to be very spacious as compared to most hotels or condos. We also provide satelite TV and DSL (broadband) internet so that you can keep in contact with friends and family at home!
As a guest of ours the following amenaties are available to you: a large private area of the sandy beach plus the use of a two person kayak and paddles.
The view from the front of your casita is just spectacular! In the winter months Humpback and Gray whales pass by enjoying the warmer waters. You can expect some or all of numerous varities of colorful fish, manta rays and porpoise. There is fishing from our beach in front or you can go after the big guys including marlin,sailfish,wahoo, and dorado-(mahi mahi) by chartering a boat. We can help make arraingements!
During windsurfing season (nov-feb) gear is available to rent in Los Barriles or you can take a kiting lesson at North Beach. We can help you with this too!
There are many other activities in our area that we can help you access or you can just enjoy a relaxful and peaceful vacation! You will already be equiped for that just by staying with us at Casita Del Mar!
The casita is on the property of the homeowner yet is very private.It consists of the middle and bottom levels as seen in this picture and extends from one side of the property to the other.
This is a truly special place! And we hope to be able to share it with you!

  • My husband and I just returned from a romantic get away from Casitas Del Mar. This was everything we wanted it to be, secluded, private and incredible scenery. Tin and Anne are great hosts and will make your stay everything you dreamed it would be. The casistas are immaculate and have all the needed conveniences. Wish we could have stayed longer, but will return in the future, hopefully with my daughter and grandsons. Thanks Tim and Anne.

  • I have stayed here several times and love it. The location and accomodations are wonderful. I took advantage of the great fishing that is available both right on the beach and by charter out in the Sea of Cortez. I also really enjoyed the ocean view patio, escpecially at the end of the day with a margarita in my hands and listening to the mantas jumping in the water. I can't wait to go back again soon!

  • We have stayed here twice and love it. We stay in one of the beachside casitas. The casitas are great - there is a nice living area with a small kitchen, a lovely bathroom, and a nice bedroom. The casita and all the furniture is brand new. There are big windows with beach views in every room. And, there is a nice patio to relax and view the beach. We mostly stayed here and took walks on the beach, kayaked, relaxed. We're looking forward to going back in April!

  • My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay in the Casita closest to the beach! It was very convenient to Los Barriles for shopping and dining, and the views are incredible. It was really fun to use the 2 man kayak to search for and find the hidden hot springs that are a few hundred meters down the beach, near the Spa Buena Vista.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Casitas del Mar. I ended up running into friends staying at Rancho Buena Vista so it was easy heading down there everyday on the ATV for kite surfing, simply 200 yards away. I talked your place up to a bunch of people staying in town at Playa Cortez, Martin Verdugas, and Rancho BV, so you will have many new clients! It is a good central point for kiters since you can go to North Beach or Buena Vista very easily. We were fortunate to have good kiting conditions throughout our stay. Tom & Staci Reilly

  • Our family absolutely loved the casitas and our time in Cabo. It was the most relaxing vacation we've had in years. It is amazing that there is still a beach that has so few people on it. We'll be back next year!

  • We really enjoyed our time here. My wife and I visited in 2005 and then came back a year later with our newborn. It was very relaxing and the accomodations were good. We loved being right on the beach!
