This is a very unique property that is one of the rare rental houses that is directly on the river. What makes this house unique is that each of the bedrooms has an amazing view of the river and its own access to the deck. The house is in a gated community for security, the back deck facing the river allows you to relax in natural beauty because there are no houses across the river.
The Kitchen is open to the living room and has all top end appliances, wine cooler and bar. The living room and dining room have views of the canyons and river below. The quietness, the views and tranquility alone make this an amazing opportunity to share in Bend, Oregon. There are two decks, and the master is on the main.
There is a mountain bike, hiking trail accessible right from the house that accesses miles upon miles of terrain, or can take you directly to downtown Bend. This is a one of a kind house, and is decorated in Fly Fishing accents to bring the outdoors inside the home.
There is also a theatre room downstairs equipped with a 42" flat screen LCD with HD for movies and television. The house has a video library as well. The living room is also equipped with a 42" LCD that articulates to the kitchen or to the living room to allow optimal viewing. The fireplace is a high end Mendota that illuminates flames as well as functions as a direct heat source with an internal fan to circulate heat, and is also remote control. The bathrooms are accented in fly fishing tile to capture the mood.
The house is furnished with four queen beds that are high end in comfort and quality. Bottom Line, we feel that a good night sleep is as important as the view. The pictures say it all, what you see is exactly what you get.

We had a wonderful family gathering. The view from the two decks is beautiful. Spent the last day watching a small otter play in the river. The house is well stocked. Everyone had plenty of room and privacy. We enjoyed to short walk to the park, crossed the river, and walked for miles on the trail across the river. Excellent rental. Thank you!

Our extended family spent a glorious week (too short) at this lovely and very comfortable home. Whether we were sitting on the deck watching the river otters, kingfishers and Osprey; cooking together in the exceptionally complete kitchen, shopping in Bend, riding bikes or walking on the Deschuttes River Trail, this town and vacation rental has it all. The owner was extremely helpful with regards to information about amenities, sightseeing, river access (we sat at rivers edge and floated daily). Overflow family and friends stayed in the motel within walking distance. Plenty of bathrooms and the beds were very comfortable; each room has a view of the river, so everyone was happy. Without question we plan to return and would recommend it to friends and relatives!

We had the absolute perfect vacation! The view of the river is incredible, and lots of deck space to enjoy it. The trails allow you to go for beatiful long walks in the morning to see all the wildlife. The house is decorated and equipped very well. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is top knotch. We will definately return and thank you for sharing your georgeous home with us, it was our favorite vacation in ten years.

It was our first time in Bend, Oregon. I really did not know what to expect, because we have never visited Oregon before and for that matter the middle of it. I have to say, it was absolutely stunning. This house knocked our socks off. We spent most of our time on the deck watching the wild game and the sunset. For some reason, wine and cheese taste so much better. We really enjoyed the hiking trails across the river and my family enjoyed the Desert Museum and the Caves that you rent a lantern pay a small sum and go a mile underneath the ground in a rather large cavern with no guides, though its self guided its very safe. We also enjoyed golf, there are some great courses in Bend some were private but they opened them to the public because of the economy. We played Pronghorn (Nicholas side) and Tetherow. I must say, probably the two finest golf courses I have ever played. Very demanding so bring lots of golf balls. I would recommend this house and this town to anyone who was interested in visiting Bend. One of our most relaxing adventures for sure. One last thing, be sure to wake up (or open your eyes) at 6 am in the morning in the summer. The side hill across the river turns a majical red, the trees, and the river it is truely amazing. We shall return!

My wife, son (4) and I went on vacation here with her mother, sister and brother in-law. It was incredible! We loved the easy access to the river, park and mountain bike trail. The accommodations themselves were luxurious. There was a grocery store and other amenities nearby, but when at the house you feel like you're a million miles from anywhere. We saw osprey (one even caught a fish in front of the house), deer (does, bucks and fawns), beaver, a million chipmunks and lots of birds. I am no fisherman, but even I caught a fish just a short ways up the river. There was fly fishing every morning and afternoon just up river from the house, so you know it's a good spot for that. I could not recommend this house enough and we look forward to trying to get it again in the future.

I very rarely write reviews unless it is truley above and beyond my expectations. This house was all of that we could have asked for. Located on the river with a gated community for privacy, though you had neighbors you cannot really see them on the deck or in the living areas. We really enjoyed Bend and the great restaurants but found that we enjoyed cooking in this open professional kitchen and eating our meals on the river to be far better, espeacially with a good bottle of red. I will definately be returning. Awesome place. Let me know if you ever would consider selling!!!! Also hiking at Smith Rock was amazing!!

This was truley a one of a kind property. So peaceful, and a great view of Deschutes River. We saw otters, a beaver, lots of deer and a Golden Eagle that comes out in the morning when your drinking coffee on the deck. The house is decorated with great taste, and the kitchen is beautiful and has all the essentials. I will return with my family again. Thank you for sharing your house with us!!
