Loft has two futons and can sleep up to 4.Finished basement recreation room has pull out queen size sleeper. Minutes from shopping, restaurants, boating, trout fishing, hiking, tubing , kayaking, and mountain festivals. The cities of Blue Ridge,Georgia, Copper Hill,Tennessee and Murphy,North Carolina are equidistant and offer everything for a fun family weekend or a cool chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Cabin is on 2 acres, secluded with an elevation of over 2000 feet and year round view of mountains.

Owner Description
My husband and I are former educators. We created a place in the mountains where we and our children could enjoy not only the beauty of nature and the mountains, but also all the wonders of outdoors - hiking, white water rafting, boating on the nearby lakes, jet-skiing, berry picking (blueberries and blackberries in season) and just plain relaxing and watching the sunsets from our decks and screened porch. Even extended family love the beauty and variety of the area.
Why the Owner Chose Blue Ridge
We started by looking for a piece of property that had privacy and a great view, as well as proximity to certain amenities. When we found just what we were looking for, we built the house ourselves with a plan I devised. We're thrilled with the outcome.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
For us, the greatest benefit is "getting away from it all" - traffic, hassle, noise, etc. For the grown children and the little grandchildren, it's the lake and the hiking and the white-water rafting.
