FABULOUS OCEAN FRONT SETTING

FABULOUS LOCATION This condo has a remarkable location, right on the beach, even closer than it looks in the photos, with stunning ocean views from both the living area and the bedroom and with the ocean’s roar constantly bringing healing renewal. There’s a very long and surprisingly unoccupied walking beach and we thoroughly enjoyed our 6 to 8 mile walks each morning. The condo is also very well equipped and very comfortably furnished, with an extremely comfy bed, plus a table, sofa and a lounging bed for two on the patio. We enjoyed lunch several days at 7 Seas resort which is a 3 to 5 min ride in the direction of Cabo San Lucas, plus there are a couple of pleasant beachside restaurants where we stopped on our walks. Our only disappointment was the bathtub which was described as an over-sized tub with a shower; the tile tub would have worked okay but the hot water ran out after filling it just 2 inches. If you don’t care about having a bathtub, you probably can’t find a nicer spot in Cabo! Kate & Eddie

This property was exactly as advertised and we had no disappointments. The view and balcony is awesome and there are nice big doors in the living room and bedroom to open up to the surf. We used the wireless internet, tv/cable/dvd, keyless door lock, in-room safe, washer/dryer all without problem. The condo complex is nice with two pools (I think one was heated, and the other not) and two small (3-person?) hot tubs. It wasn't crowed in the least (neither was it the last time I stayed at Mykonos). We had our two-year old daughter with us and the owner was reluctantly okay with that (asked us to sign a waiver in case she, the daughter, decided to jump off the balcony) and the decor is pretty child friendly anyway. The decor is nice and warm, not all plastic and sand-proof furniture like some other rentals. Lots of pictures of the owners' family around the unit, which may or may not be your thing in a rental. Well appointed with dishes/silverware/coffeemaker/microwave etc, but they ask you to replace disposable supplies if you use them up - we bought some dish soap, paper towels, and kleenex for example. It really is made for just a couple people - if you had others they could sleep on the couches, but there aren't futons or pull-out couches specifically provided for extra guests. The location is on a nice beach and uncrowded, no vehicle noise from the freeway out back. It's about a mile to the nearest big supermarket (not a nice walk along the freeway, but you could walk the beach) and about two miles or so to the center of San Jose Del Cabo. Overall good choice if you have a small group and are looking for something quiet and reasonably close to town (which I guess is why other reviews keep clicking the "recommended for Age 55+" - but I'm 36 so maybe I just vacation like an old man).

We had such a great time in San Jose del Cabo. Staying at Marc and Caroline's place was so perfect for us. We were looking for a quiet place where we could drive to the action if we wanted. Often we were the only people at the pool by 11:00 and we saw no more than 10 at any one time. One of the big selling point for us to stay here was that the building is not a time-share. The suggestions given for restaurants were great...we love Tommy's Barefoot Cantina at the new Marina in Puerto Los Cabos too. Even though we loved going out to eat, we also loved being able to watch the beautiful ocean and whales playing in the morning while eating breakfast. The "Fishman" comes to the complex once a week and we bought lobster tail, huge prawns, halibut and huge scallops while we were there. We drove the 2.5 hours to La Paz one day but enjoyed coming back to Mykonos. Waking up and seeing the sunrise was spectacular coming from rainy Oregon. We slept with the door open all night and listened to the waves. This 5th floor beauty of a place could not have been more comfortable for us. We felt very safe and secure there. Our 2 weeks were the best. Thanks Marc and Caroline!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at this unit in the Mykonos resort. The views from the condo and deck are outstanding. Inside the condo is warm and inviting- they did a great job making the place feel like home. The unit is well furnished with everything you need. The biggest plus is the sound of the ocean- if you love the sound of the waves, this is the place for you. We stayed for 10 days and loved every minute of it- hope to stay there again.

This was an incredible condo! Ideal location near the top floor with 180 degree shoreline views. The Greek style architecture made it feel as though we were on the other side of the world. Outside double daybed is great for relaxing in the afternoon if you want some shade and privacy. Very comfortable furniture and beautiful decor on the interior. The pools were warm and allowed you to sunbath in the beach style gradual entry, with views to the ocean from every angle. There is also a swim up BBQ at the pool which would be great for a trip with some friends. We came here to surf...this condo is about a 10 min walk to some of the best surfing we ever experienced! Good lessons too - find Raphael :) Also downtown San Jose Del Cabo is very quaint. Much more traditional and quiet than Cabo San Lucas. There were a lot of fantastic restaurants, art shops, and shopping there, and a cab into town is only 5 dollars. Be sure to make your way to Chileno Bay (BEAUTIFUL peaceful beach with awesome snorkeling and turquoise water)...we went twice! Also there are HUGE mountains around here...we are into hiking but didn't research before we came. We would definitely line up a guide next time to get out to El Picacho or the Sierra de la Laguna dry forest.

Thanks for sharing your home Marc & Caroline! This was exactly what we were looking for in a spring vacation. The condo was beautiful and welcoming. Fabulous location with breathtaking views of the sea! We watched the moon rise late evening and the sun rise every morning - spectacular! At times it seemed like we were the only two on the beach, so secluded and void of crowds. We watched surfers for hours, especially when the surf grew perfect! The waves were mesmorizing to say the least. Calm enough to boogie board at least half the week. We had mid-80s and not a cloud in the sky and never needed the air conditioning. The condo's proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, banks etc. was just an added benefit. We walked to dinner, bars and the Mega several times. We ran up around the golf course and Mega in the mornings. The short (and move-it-or-lose-it) drive to Cabo San Lucas wasn't bad. Medano Beach wasn't for us and simply validated that we made the right pick by staying in San Jose del Cabo. We snorkeled at Chileno Beach and drank lots of fine tequila daily. The condo was completely loaded with everything we needed for a week on the beach. The security and grounds staff were very friendly and always available. Our favorite places were Gaucamayas and Havanas for food and Don Sanchez for tequila sipping. Also Tommy's Barefoot Cantina in Puerto Los Cabos (La Playita) was fun. Oh - and the La Marina Inn makes the most incredible camerons appetizer! We'll be back - as long as you'll welcome us!

This is a wonderful accommodation, as good, or better than any place we have stayed before. We greatly appreciated how well it is equipped - right down to the frozen martini glasses! We brought CDs and one or two DVDs - but didn't use them. Who would want any distraction from the sound of the surf, and the moonlight over the water? We hope to return on a regular basis.

I must say that this condo is the most beautiful and well-appointed VRBO rental in which I have stayed. The place has everything you will need to enjoy Cabo in style and ease. The location is unparalleled with its direct beach access and amazing panoramic views! Inside, the condo is beautifully decorated, reflecting its local culture and art. Everything about this rental was positive and easy to coordinate. Thank you so very much for a great vacation destination!

What an amazing, beautiful place! We just returned from a five night visit and the pictures/description are just a glimpse of how wonderful the condo and beaches are. The sunrises each morning were spectacular! We loved the pools and the beautiful "oasis" of Mykonos. There are so many wonderful restuarants, shops, and art galleries in the town of San Jose del Cabo. Caroline was terrific to provide us with great information on so many different things to see and do. We truly feel like we just visited paradise, and can't wait to go back!
