Spectacular Views

This house is in the perfect setting in the perfect location. You are in a quiet neighborhood that is very accessible to South Shore but away from the crowds and noise. The house overlooks the Truckee river and a beautiful meadow with the Angora ridge in the background. It has a great outdoor patio and the house is well kept and furnished. Perfect for a couple or a family. Very kid-friendly! Bring your bikes - once you are there it is possible to park the car and bike anywhere you want to go.

We stayed seven nights over the July fourth weekend. The house was well-stocked and very comfortable. The location was scenic and convenient as the listing describes. The owners were helpful and friendly in suggestions for activities. We enjoyed the home's ammenities especially the outdoor fireplace, guide books, and kids' stuff such as books, toys, and TV. Very friendly neighbors. An excellent stay in Tahoe!

Great South Lake Tahoe Cabin

We had a fantastic time at this property. It was spacious, clean, and very well equipped, with a fantastic kitchen, great living area and comfortable bedrooms. It was very well located in South Tahoe, close to all amenities, restaurants and stores. The owners were really helpful, frequently checking to see whether we were ok. For a holiday in south Lake Tahoe, I can't recommend this property highly enough!

Great vacation rental

Very pleasant, spacious, well-maintained and well-equipped home with a lovely view overlooking The Meadow in South Lake Tahoe. Very comfortable furniture throughout the house, especially the master bedroom and the living room. A ten-minute walk to our favorite coffee shop and the main road through town.

This house has an incredible view, at the near end of a quiet street, a stones throw from the Truckee river. My family had a great time, very kid friendly, yet perfect for us adults to watch a movie after bedtime. The location was excellent, closet to everything. Very well maintained, clean and everything in working order. We plan to go back!

Perfect place to relax and unwind

We had a wonderful family vacation here. The home is clean, comfortable and has a great layout. The views are gorgeous. Access to the hiking/biking trails right out the backyard was perfect for my 2 boys to go exploring in the River. We were an easy bike ride to the Lake, ice cream, and coffee shop. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, pretty to go for walks. The many state parks and hiking trails are all within about 15 minutes by car. We had a great dinner from Fasta Pasta-5 minutes away and another great meal at The Brewery at Lake Tahoe. We would definitely come back again and will recommend this home to our friends! Stephanie was super helpful and friendly! Thank you for a great vacation place!!

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The house is in a great location for outdoor activities -- hiking, mountain biking, boating -- and it's close to restaurants and shopping. It's on a quiet street near the Truckee River, which has a path for hiking or running. The patio is very nice with a great view -- it's a great spot for outdoor dining and grilling.

We had a great time here. The owners were very helpful when we needed them. The place is surrounded for a beautiful view and at least twice at day we went sledding to the hill. The short walk to the hill was just delightful for our eyes: trees covered by the snow, the river on our right side and a huge and white field around everything and us.

Just right. Just the right distance from all your needs be it stores, recreation or stateline. It is very cozy and comfortable with just the right amount of distractions that you left back at home. A great place to enjoy the company for friends and family. Winter was spectacular and I can only imagine what Summer would bring.

Really great location nearby all of the restaurants and resorts at South Lake Tahoe. This quiet home is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. There is plenty of parking area off the street in the driveway, plus an enclosed garage. The best part for me was the view. Stunning. There is a 180 degree view of the pristine, natural creek and meadow just south of the lake. A large patio with lots of seating and a fire pit says "come out and relax". The fenced yard keeps a nice boundary for kids. If it's too cold for you, just open the shades and enjoy a wall of windows as you gaze out at the beauty. The home is warm and comfortable with everything you need whether you're eating in or out. Two full baths to accommodate your group. Granite counters in the large kitchen make meal prep a snap. Do enjoy this wonderful home!

Warm and cozy, just like home... A few friends and I went up to Tahoe for a relaxing weekend away before we all start school again and had the best time. It felt as though we were staying at a friend's house. The house was located close (within 5 mins.) to anything and everything we could want, including Heavenly, shops and restaurants, the casinos, Safeway and Starbucks. There were seven of us and we all slept comfortably, each with our own space, we did need a few extra blankets though. That's the only complaint we can make. The view was like something you'd see in a movie; completely idyllic. It's a perfect house for staying in, playing cards and board games all night. It was incredibly low key and there wasn't much we had to do upon arrival and departure. Making the arrangements and payment was simple, and best of all, it was by far the best value we could find. We'll definitely be back. Thanks again!

This is a very comfortable and cozy home with great views and location. The kids especially enjoyed the nice sledding hill just up the river from the house. They also loved the tree house in the backyard. The place has been very nicely upgraded throughout.

Wow! What a fantastic home away from home. We really enjoyed your Tahoe house. Nestled among tall breathtaking woods, we found this cabin homey, and modern. Stephanie and Kevin, you have made this home so comfy, with the little touches here and there that make you feel so at home. The rooms were big, the children had lots of space to run around inside and out. We felt we were at home, but for the giant trees outside. (We don't have that where we live ;-)) I really enjoyed waking up to see all the big trees. The kids really enjoyed the tree house. We particularly enjoyed the trails, especially walking out the backyard to the Truckee river, the main sights were so close to the house, especially my personal favorite; Emerald Bay! We can't wait to be back, thank you for making this house so comfortable, with its impressive catalog of music and literature, soft comfy beds,nice backyard to sit, bbq or just enjoy the breeze. Your house is so relaxing. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here in September and chose the house primarily for the views - we were not disappointed! It was spotlessly clean & well cared-for, obviously a much-loved home. The great location made it easy to see everything worthwhile nearby and we especially loved the gondola ride at Heavenly, a hike to Cascade Lake & Falls, and hike to the beautiful, hidden Eagle Lake. A great place to stay!

This house is a real sleeper. One of the best views in the valley is right outside the door. Absolutely no traffic noise. Sitting out on the patio at night is light being out in country. Conveniently located, the house is an easy drive to all the attractions. For the price, this is one of the best values in South Lake Tahoe. Thanks for the opportunity to rent this nice home. It was everything we expected and more.

Thanks for allowing us to rent your cabin. As advertised, it has gorgeous views and is very private and yet still close to town and all the amenities. We were able to ride on the bike trails right from the house! And enjoyed walking to the local bakery for a morning cup of java and a tasty treat to start the day! The master bed is very comfortable. House is decorated nicely and the kitchen has everything you need. Also appreciated all the literature on local places to see and things to do. Nice selection on reading books and comfy sofa for relaxing at the end of the day and watching a video to unwind. The kids loved making smores in the fire pit. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a homebase to explore the Tahoe area.

We were very impressed with this house and property. It is beautifully appointed and does indeed have gorgeous mountain and meadow views. It is close to restaurants, shops and the slopes, but it is in a very serene and quiet setting- a perfect Tahoe getaway for the family. We highly recommend this rental.

We have stayed at this house several times enjoying both snow in the winter and swimming in summer. While living in the Bay Area, it became our second home. It is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly equipped for a family. With the breathtaking view, you can just sit at the deck and enjoy looking at the meadow and mountain for hours. Highly recommended!

Wow what an amazing house & location with such breathtaking views. Perfect for a family vacation, the house caters for absolutely everything and is very spacious. This is a very nice home with awesome views. The kitchen and living area are large and can accomodate a big party. The patio and fire pit are very enjoyable. Conveniently located to skiing, casinos, and Lake Tahoe!
