Our family stayed at Tamarack Tranquility for Christmas this year, and it was the BEST way to spend the holiday! The house is amazing and very comfortable (and VERY clean!) - the kitchen is fully stocked, the ping pong table was a hit with everyone and the hot tub was a fanstic way to round out the day after snowboarding at Big Mountain. The Stewarts' are great hosts and do everything to make your stay wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend Tamarck Tranquility and would love to return in any season.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you, Nadine for your posting. We truly appreaciate all our guest and hope that everyone will be able to return with the same or better experience than the time before.

Eight of my closest friends and I stayed in Brenda's rental and we felt right at home. In the beginning the only thing that was missing was the fire pit and she had that dug by the time we arrived, even offering to start the fire for us. In the end my only regret about the place was we didn't get to have Brenda over for dinner. Thanks Brenda!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was an excellent accommodation for our group of 10 23-26 year olds. A convenient drive to and from the ski hill, as well as to downtown Whitefish. We had booked the bunk house, as well as the main house and found that this was the perfect amount of room for all of us. We easily could have fit 2 or 3 more people. We also found the beds to be very comfortable. Brenda and Dave were very accommodating and made sure we had whatever we needed to make our stay enjoyable. It was very nice to have so many towels and linens available. We took advantage of the hot tub, ping pong table, and MANY games that they provide. Thanks for a very memorable New Years! We hope to come back sometime to enjoy this home again...maybe in the summer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Great to have meant all of you! Hope to have you all back again and again! Brenda and Dave

Our family had a wonderful stay at this house. We had a group of 8 adults and 4 small kids and there was plenty of space for all of us. The owners knew we had 4 small children coming and they made sure there were lots of toys and things for them to play with during our stay. The garage was set-up as a play area so the kids had lots of room to run even when the mosquitoes outside forced us indoors. The hot tub is a great place for relaxing after a long day of hiking through the mountains. If you want a comfortable place that is close to Glacier as well as other great Montana sites then this place is for you. Although we were a large group this house would also be great for smaller groups as well who want extra space and a quiet environment to stay in. If you want a great place with good coffee check out Montana Coffee Traders. Great food and wonderful coffee. The Craggy Range Bar and Grill also has wonderful food and a great atmosphere. If visiting in the summer check out the Alpine Slide in Whitefish for a wonderfully fun adventure. We took our 4 small kids and they all had a blast. The adults had a lot of fun too. Obviously Glacier National Park is a wonderful adventure as well, with breathtaking scenery.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The listing description regarding the location was accurate and contained good directions to find the residence; The photos gave us a perfect idea of what to expect. The property was clean and well maintained. The house was immaculate and cooking was a breeze in the kitchen which had everything you needed. The house was also decorated beautifully and there were games, books and movies for all ages. The owner took care of everything thing we needed in a prompt manner. We would highly recommend this rental to friends or relatives. The hot tub was maintained regularly. We ate mostly at the rental, but there are many good restaurants and fun shopping in Whitefish. A lovely property with awesome hosts.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

We just stayed for a week in this lovely home in a wonderful location. We had three families with six boys. The ping pong table kept many amused for many hours. The hot tub was a hit for sure. The best thing however, is the wonderful surroundings. The house has everything one would ever need and if it happened that we needed something, we just walked over to Brenda and Dave's and they supplied it for us! There is no shortage of things to do in the area. We white water rafted, ziplined, went water sliding, golfed, and climbed and descended the mountain either on bike or foot. Shopping is nearby with all your shopping needs met...Costco, Ross, TJMaxx, Walmart, Target etc. The beauty of this property is that even though there are all the conveniences of home, you are away from it all too. We awoke every morning to hearing a "nature soundtrack" with the many different birds singing their songs in a most perfect, serene and restful setting. We were able to bring our dog and she enjoyed the fenced in yard! It was a perfect getaway with so many adventure opportunities to satisfy six boys! We could not have been more pleased with our vacation getaway. Brenda and Dave were so helpful and friendly with recommendations for anything that you would like in the area. We do not hesitate for a moment to recommend this property. With 12 guests all beds were used, but even with that many, we never had a shortage of hot water or space. We certainly plan to return again someday! Thanks for the wonderful break from it all Brenda and Dave!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family has stayed at this house multiple times. Dave and Brenda are the most accommodating, friendliest people around. This is a great property to stay at with pets, and a fantastic place to relax. Numerous nights have been spent playing cards outside, having fires in the pit, drinking wine. Days are spent at the lake or on the property relaxing with a good book, listening to nature, and watching the deer and other animals walk on by. The house is SPOTLESS every single time we come. We have spent years renting this property from Dave and Brenda and have never encountered a single problem. The homemade cinnamon buns and pies are always appreciated. If you want a fabulous vacation in a clean, well stocked and maintained home with gorgeous landscaping, with the friendliest hosts around, please stay here.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at the beautiful Columbia Falls home for 5 1/2 days and wanted to stay MUCH longer. The owners are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. The house was beautifully clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one could possibly need. The towels and linens fresh and clean. The yard is beautiful with flowers, birds and wildlife and our dogs loved the "doggie yard". Needless to say, the hot tub was well used everyday. It's very close to the west entrance to Glacier Nat'l Park, to Whitefish, Kalispell, and about 45 min. to Flathead Lake. We had a glorious time and hope to return soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We came to Montana for our sons wedding and this property fit our every need. We had several nights entertaining and the kitchen and backyard worked perfectly. Brenda and Dave could not have been more gracious in offering anything we may have needed, including their patio table and chairs for one of our evenings. The location was perfect for our various trips to the grocery store, liquor store, salons etc and convient to Whitefish and site seeing. All of our out of town guests took advantage of Glacier National Park which was very easy to access. The property was very clean and every convience you could ever need. We would recommend this property very highly. The one thing you need to remember is the trains do go through Columbia Falls all day and night. I was aware of them, my husband was not...........:-)Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

Hi Dave and Brenda, We wanted to drop you a note letting you know what a pleasure it was for our family to stay at your home. You have a beautiful and extremely comfortable home and it was a great place to unwind with our kids. The kitchen was well-equipped and the hot tub was awesome! Unfortunately the week just flew by but we loved every minute of it. We would love to enjoy the winter experience soon hopefully. Thank you so much.
