85-90 when we arrived a little cooler later & perfect every day! Lots of hiking in the Tucson Mtns,Santa Rita Mts & right out the back door...Went to several Baseball games (UofA & Pro), movies (century 16 on Grant) visited family, hiked some more! Did lots of Bird-watching in the wash. Shopping in Tubac (be sure to go to Wisdom's for a Margarita) Desert museum, long walks in the desert. Vera, The condo was perfect in everyway. We loved waking up to the cacaphoney of birds in the wash and found a variety of hiking trails in the area. We ate most of our meals on the deck and it was always quiet and private. We found the furnishings very comfotable and adequate. Would love to come back! Thanks for sharing, Marcia & Bob

Golfed, birded, shopped, hiked (madera canyon) ate too much! Vera, We loved staying in your lovely condo. Very comfortable, well equipped, Beautiful view and best of all fantastic birding in the natural desert garden right here!! We walked the "wash" many times and saw: Gambel quail, canyon wren, phainopepla, house finch, gila woodpecker, gilded flicker, red tailed hawk, white winged doves, inca doves, carinals, olive warblers, broadbilled hummingbird, vermillion fly catcher, black tailed gnatcatcher, sage & curved bill thrasher, bewicks wren and juniper titmouse. Many of these were new to us. The vegetaion and terrain is so new to us, very differnt from the Easter Us. We would love to come back to this area. Maybe next year. Thanks again, Nancy & Fred *Javelinas, Rabbits, Bobcat too.

Welcome to our guest book. We are happy to have you as our guest in our second home here in Tucson. We love this part of the desert and enjoy sharing it with friends and family. Early morning walks are the norm this time of year as it is still pretty warm in the afternoons. Waking up here is a treat, the birds start singing and the little bunnies are out and about. Sunrise over the mountains while you have a cup of coffee is peaceful and ever changing. Somehow each time we stay here the mountains look different somedays they appear off in the distance and in other light they look as if you could take a short walk to the top. Night time sitting on the balcony and watching the city lights twinkle give you a very real sense that all is right with the world. Anyway hope you enjoy and will share your experiences here for the rest of us. If you have discovered a new hiking trail or resturant maybe spotted a rare bird please make note here we love to hear from you.
