This Get-Away beach house is only 4 years old with three Bedrooms and two full baths. Private fenced backyard, hottub, private setting neighborhood. The beach, Lincoln beach is only 1.5 blocks away. If we had a gate at the back of our private fenced backyard, you would be about 300 feet from the ocean. So, the walk is around the corner. The master bedroom is a master suite. Decorated hollywood style, you will find a lovely two person shower along with a seperate vanity. You and yours may not want to leave this beach house. The second bedroom is dressed in a Nautica theme. With an extra TV-for VHS makes this a special slice of heaven. The third bedroom is shabby chic. This adorable room has an additional special feature...it is one of several entrances which lead to the game room.
The game room has ping pong, foosball, dart board. Additional items you can find are; bikes, kite, crab cooker, golf clubs (both his and hers). Did I mention a hot tub in the private backyard? Beach location is a short one block walk to Lincoln Beach. Lincoln Beach is a sandy beach with plenty of room for kids, both large and small and our family pets. Lincoln beach is about 3-6 miles long. So if you're a runner, walker or simply chase kids and dogs, this is the beach for you. The beach is 1.5 blocks from the Get Away Beach house.
Tile floors in kitchen, dining room and main bathroom. Beautiful kitchen with all the expected and unexpected trimmings. Dining room table expands to accommodate 8 people for meals with additional seating at the kitchen counter making room for 3 more. Enough tableware for 15. The backyard is completely fenced for privacy. There are lounge chairs for backyard fun.
2 TV's, DVD and CD player along with movies, musics, games, puzzles, books and more.
We also have a home one block away (Angelisa by the Sea) that would accomodate an additional 7 people. For large families, or family reunions, this makes a perfect solution. Total accomodations would be for up to 14.

Year Purchased: 2005
Don and I, (Victoria) have been together 12 years and married for 8. We reside in Silverton, OR. We have two grown wonderful children and one grandson seen here. Don works in the world of building, and me, I rent out our beach houses. We love to play golf, whether it's Agate Beach Golf Course in Newport or Shalishan Golf course in Depoe Bay (Gleneden Beach), you can bet it's competitive.
Why the Owner Chose Depoe Bay
Our Beach house is perfectly located to a variety of activities. The beach is right there. It's a sandy beach with NO cliffs. This means great fun for family, friends and wonderful pets. The access to the beach is an easy short 1.5 block walk. During summer months, you can visit the tide pools, fly kites and watch baby seals and much, much more. There is a great walking trial not far away which displays a 360 view of the beach and ocean, but don't tell anyone. Lincoln City, 8 miles away. Lots of shopping, great resturants, antique shopping and more. We are very close to the little town of Depoe Bay, a short two miles south. There we find whale watching tours, deep sea fishing and great shopping at the smallest harbour in the world. Stopping by Gracies' "the old sea hag" resturant is still as much fun as going to the Italian Rivera with swing dancing on Saturday nights (jazz on other nights). Or just simply sitting above the ocean floor with a cup of joe and watching the ocean crash to the shore.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our beach house have no homes built on either side. This is great news if your family is loud like ours, or you are looking for a quiet spot, this is it. We are located away from highway 101 so there are very few, if any disturbances. Our private fenced backyard has great space for BBQs', Hottub, and lounging around after a day on the beach. Cooking crab or BBQing, this beach house will leave you with wonderful memories.

Our family had a great time at this house. Three teenagers and grandma all had something to do. Loved the ping pong table and the hot tub. Great location with quick access to beach and also both Lincoln City and Newport. You can do it all from here!

At the risk of never being able to rent it again (just because all the days are taken) WE LOVED STAYING HERE! We've rented homes for 4 years now for our vacations and this was the best. Our dog Sammi wanted to spend all her time in the backyard and we loved having a safe place for her to run around. For us the house was perfect...close to everything we wanted to see this trip and so instantly comfortable we felt like we were at home. One of the additional benefits was having a usable garage for unloading stuff and to protect the car from the salt air...great touch and the first time we have that luxury. Many thanks to Victoria and Don for such a perfect offering.

The "Depoe Bay House Getaway" was the BEST!!! The location was prime! Minutes from the quaint town of Depot Bay, and steps to a beautiful, quiet, sandy beach. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the amenities this wonderful home had to offer: ping pong, darts, boogie boards, a fabulous hot tub, BBQ, games and dvds. Look no further, this warm relaxing beach house welcomes you like your own home away from home! Just spent Thanksgiving at this house with our two grown daughters and family. Loved it! It is very nice! Accomodates 7 easily. Has everything you need. Close to shopping, crabbing, beach, food, casino, would do it again in a heartbeat! Owner is great to work with too! Hope to stay there again in future. This is our third time renting a house, and this was our # 1 favorite experience. The Nashes

I had a scrapbooking weekend at this house in September and it was awesome. The garage worked out so good to put all our tables and stay nice and warm while we scrapbooked into the wee hours of the morning. The hot tub was a nice treat for a long day of sitting and scrapping. The walk to the beach took only minutes to get there and then lots of beautiful beach to walk on. I would recommend this house to any one who is looking to get away and have a nice relaxing weekend, I know we are coming back to stay again :-)
