Our home has a spectacular view looking straight down the main channel of Norris Lake with the far tree line about two miles away.
Our 4000 sq ft home features four large suites, each with a full bath and direct access to the lakeside deck. Three of the suites have king beds. The fourth has two bunk beds, one with two twin beds, and one with a twin bed on top and a full bed on bottom. A full-sized futon bed is also available.
The lakeside deck has two levels, with the top level featuring two outdoor dining areas. The covered bottom level has one dining area and leads to a private dock. Our dock has a sundeck and slips to park two large boats and two jet skis.
The main floor of the house has vaulted ceilings, full kitchen, dining room, half-bath, and great room with a large-screen television, stereo system, and a beautiful stone fireplace. Additionally, the floor-to-ceiling windows provide gorgeous year-round lake views.
The lower floor has a living room, television, pool table, and a large wet bar stocked with barware. There is also a second refrigerator and a washer and dryer.
Our house is situated in a quiet subdivision called Norris Pointe. This is a less-traveled portion of the main channel of the lake, well away from the heavy boat traffic and waves of Deerfield.
The house sits back off the road, making road noise undetectable. In addition, the lot between the house and road is beautifully covered with eastern white pines and dogwood trees.

This home is very spacious with the dining room, living room and kitchen all together. The bedrooms are huge and each one has doors going out to the deck with a windows to look out at the lake. It has very high ceilings and a beautiful view from all of the windows in the living room/dining room. The two decks on the house are very large and there are three tables and many chairs to sit in. It sits on a cove on the lake so there is no fast boat traffic at the dock. Swimming is wonderful at the dock. The lake is 30 ft. deep right off the dock but with life jackets on, it's very safe to swim around there. The water is so clear and was very warm in July. The only noise you hear are boats in the distance which are mostly drowned out by the birds and cicaidas. For people with younger children, there is not much of a yard and the steps to the lake come right off the bottom dock. But I took my 3 yr old and 5 yr old and I felt they were safe because all doors have deadbolt locks that are hard to open (even for some adults). I would definitely stay there again.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This place was fantastic. It's even larger than the pictures suggest. Very easy to get lost inside! Worth every penny. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely no complaints.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.
