Lake level, newly built, 2-bedroom, 1500 sq. ft. of serenity next to 300 ft. of privacy, woods and fantastic lake views. Perfect for the romantic getaway; crystal clear waters, pristine shale beach, gorgeous stone framed gardens and large windows are only the beginning.
Even if it poured rain everyday, the cottage is gorgeous enough to enjoy indoors; drinking in the view, a glass of wine and your favorite book. Or take that book to the deck or beach and snuggle in before some late evening fishing from the dock.
Ceilings are white-washed pine boards that beautifully reflect the late day sun bouncing off the lake, creating a shimmering dappled movement that will make you smile. While we do encourage couples to come enjoy, one of the two huge bedrooms has two double beds for children or grandchildren.

Checkin time is 3pm; checkout time is 10am as we need time to make it spick and span for your arrival. Occasionally we have flexibility on times.

Year Purchased: 2002
As one of 10 kids growing up on Keuka Lake all year round, we had a unique perspective and appreciation of all that the creeks, waterfalls, beaches and woods had to offer in the 1950s and 1960s. We felt sorry for people who could only come in the summer. It took nearly 20 years of being away with college, career, kid raising, and career again before I was reminded how important this place in the world is to my place in the world. And now I get to share with you my newer house, built in 2003. The more people who love this place as much as I do, the more it seems to come to life. Sunset watching, early morning dips to wake up, long lazy raft floats with kids--it's all there for the sharing. I've lived in many places on this planet yet always return to the beauty of Keuka; Boston for 6 years, Tucson for 14 years, interrupted by two years in Italy (Rome in 1981 and Balogna in 1988), DC for 9 years, then back to Keuka, where I'm truly at home.

I recently had the opportunity to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday at this property, and it was all I had hoped for and more. The owner, Carol, was beyond accomodating. Her flexibility and patience as we planned everything was admirable. As for the place, it was a slice if heaven. The location was excellent...The house is set back, almost in a cove, thus it's very peaceful. The neighboring houses are all GORGEOUS, and the owners very friendly. I'm not sure of my next trip to Kueka Lake, but I am positive I'll be staying at Carol's house when I come!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.
