"FALCON'S NEST" IS A CUSTOM BUILT LOG CABIN Sitting at 3400' elevation in beautiful Heartwood Mountaintop Community. Panoramic views of Watauga Lake and the Iron Mountain Range can be viewed from the covered porch or beside the massive stone fireplace in the living room. Heartwood is centrally located between Boone, NC and Elizabethton, TN (just a 40 minute drive either direction) so all of your vacation needs can be met during all 4 seasons.
Skiing, Tubing, and Ice Skating available in Blowing Rock and Banner Elk (just 45 minutes away) or visit Watauga Lake (only 20 minutes away) for Jet Skiing, Pontoon Boat Rentals, Swimming or Fishing. Many trout streams abound in this area for the avid fly fisherman. Abingdon, VA is well known for the Barter Theater and the Virginia Creeper Bike Trail is a "must do" via Damascus or Abingdon.
Of course, don't forget that Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park is in Blowing Rock for a day of wild west family fun and a ride on an authentic steam locomotive passenger train. Antique shops are readily available for many pleasant hours of browsing for that perfect gift or your home decor.
This cabin is ideal for 1 or 2 families with 2 Master suites upstairs and a large bedroom with full bath downstairs. A loft above the great room provides additional sleeping quarters. Beautifully decorated with all linens provided.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
$250/night .. $1300/week (Nightly rate is based on parties of 4 or less).
Parties more than 4 will be charged an additional $25 per person per night.
Children 8 and under are free. A 2 night minimum stay is required.
*During race week in Bristol, TN the nightly rate is slightly higher.

Ron & Mary, What a great log cabin with incredible views of the mountains and lake. It is like watching the ocean, the clouds are always in motion.
