The home is exactly as described, modern, clean and perfect for guys who want to play golf and hang out afterwards. Everyone told us there wasn't much to do other than golf at Bandon and for the most part that's true, except if you stay here. Cool putting green is a great way to settle any carryovers, the pool table is terrific alternative and the BBQ and firepit provide a way to enjoy the outdoors. It's close to the course and segregated enough from the other homes that you feel remote, but it's only a few minutes to every course. Highly recommended and we WILL be going back and when we do we WILL definitely stay here.

If your staying in this house its because your golfing the great courses at Bandon Dunes. Amenities are nice with large comfy beds, good showers and relaxing interior. The pool table is a bonus. The outside is great for sitting around the fire pit (gas) and cooking on the grill. While the putting green in the back yard doesn't quite match the greens at Bandon Dunes, it is great fun on a buddy trip. While the house is just a few minutes from the golf courses, it is a bit hard to find on the back roads. Highly recommended
Owner response:Steve had a little trouble finding the home late at night, so one quick phone call to our local caretaker, and she directed him right to it. It's literally 3 turns after you exit hwy 101 onto Bandon Dunes' main entrance road: Turn right on Seven Devil's, Left on Whiskey Run, and Left on Jackie Road. The nice thing is, we're available whenever you need our help. I give every guest my personal cell phone number and the cell number of our caretaker. She is fantastic and goes out of her way to ensure your expectations are exceeded. I'm glad you had a great time Steve and thanks for the 5 stars!

We stayed here initially for a couple reasons during an 8 person trip down to Bandon Dunes. It was 100% the right decision to stay here as opposed to the lodge. First, it awesome being together with your group. I feel you may find adding up the price per night and splitting it amongst the group will be cheaper then staying in the lodge. The Bed Rooms had ample space, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and each had a bathroom. The living room was great to relax, have a couple drinks, and watch TV. It just so happened it was NHL playoff time and that was a nice buffer after golf and before Dinner. The pool table was a great touch and was used extensively throughout the trip. It took us less than 5 minutes to get to the course. The backyard was amazing. We definitely enjoyed a few cigars around the fire pit. One night we went shopping and utilized the outdoor grill for steaks. I really cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed the place. It was well worth it. It felt like a home away from home as opposed to saying in some lodge bunched up. I would recommend this place over the lodge hands down for anybody going with a group. It was perfect.

This place is incredible! First, let me say that it was a true pleasure working with Rick Oster who owns the house. I travel a lot and often use VRBO to arrange lodging. I'm always amazed how people figure out how to take pictures make the lodging and property look better than the real thing. In this case, the pictures don't do the place justice. The house is beautiful and quite large with a great floor plan. Our trip was a "Boy's Golf Weekend" to celebrate one of our friend's 40th birthday. Every person enjoyed their own and very comfortable queen bed. That is a big plus on these trips. Each room has its own large bathroom with dressers and closets to hold clothes and golfing gear. Most importantly the large kitchen and great room with TV blend together for a perfect place to cook, eat, relax and tell golf war stories. And if that is not enough, then you can enjoy pool or putting in the back yard. I'm not sure when I will make it back to Bandon Dunes, but when I do get back, this is the place I where I want to stay!

If you like golf, and like money, and like luxury, and you don't mind a 5 minute drive, RENT THIS HOUSE. Just don't rent it when I want to! Rick is easy going and easy to work with. He delivers above his promises! Here is my short list: Clean Well Maintained High End...maybe Ultra High End Inexpensive in relation to resort - spend your money on golf and clothes for your wife so you can come back! Great owner Best golf experience in the country is minutes away At about half price of the Grove Cottages at Bandon Dunes Resort, this beautiful home (that's right, home, not house) met every one of my expectations and then some. You get it all here - ample parking, big, firm comfortable beds, tons of privacy, gourmet kitchen, big tv's, leather couches and chairs, private bathrooms, putting green, firepit, bbq, washer/dryer, etc. The house is located a short drive from the Bandon clubhouse - about 5 minutes - and enabled us to cook a lot of our own food. We used the grocery store in Bandon to fill our grocery list, and cooked up a storm. All flatwear and dinner wear, pots and pans, you name it, are ready for you in the kitchen. My only wish was for a hot tub - 36 a day is grueling!
Owner response:I am a big fan of Bandon Dunes Resort and absolutely love playing golf there, but they don't offer any lodging that compares to my home. Their Grove Cottages are nicely done, but the price is almost double. The "price per person" is quadruple because they only accommodate four guys! Also, they don't have a kitchen, billiard room, private entertainment area...etc. We've priced reasonably low, so that your cost per person (including lodging and green fees) is the same as staying in a basic room at the resort, but your experience in my home is the best!

This house was everything it said it was. It was extremely clean and ready on time. It was a great place to relax after playing golf all day. Eight of us were able to spend time around the fire pit and catch up with stories. This house is the perfect place if you are going to Bandon Dunes to play golf. It sleeps eight very comfortably. The common area is perfect for watching TV or playing cards. I highly recommend this house if you are going Bandon.

The Bandon area offers the finest golf in the West with the Bandon Resort and Bandon Crossings just south of town. The accommodations of this home offer the perfect compliment to the golfing excellence of Bandon. My stay was utilized as a corporate/incentive trip and this home proved the perfect choice. All furnishings and home amenities exceeded expectations. The owner was very prompt and accommodating to all inquires and requests, extremely easy to work with. I highly recommend this home as a choice for a stay in Bandon. Thank you for providing such a perfect place to stay!

This home feels brand new and perfect for multiple groups. There are four master bedrooms, each with its own large bathroom/walk-in shower. Each room has two pillow-top beds and a flat screen TV. Very comfortable living space and a quiet location. The kids loved making smores using the backyard fire-pit. The adults loved the pool table and the surround sound theater in the living room. Would come back here in a heartbeat.
