Snow shoeing, cross country skiing and hiking are a half a block away. Hike, snowshoe, cross country ski, or downhill ski to the slopes or to town via the burro trail. The home is 1.8 miles or 5 minutes by car to historic main street and minutes to access the ski area. Ski-out access to Peaks 9 is 4 houses away via the burro trail in Warriors Mark West. Ski in is available from Flap Jack. Ski is recommended for advanced skiers.
In the summer months the wild flowers, pine trees, beaver ponds and streams on the burro trail are just a 1/2 block away. Our guests often see wildlife on the trail or sometimes a fox or deer at the house. The trails will also take you down to the town of Breckenridge. It is a 5 or 10 minute leisure walk with the creek next to you and the wild flowers and pine trees all around.
