Why the Owner Chose Snowbasin
This is a very unique area offering world class skiing, but in a very rural setting. Snowbasin is a Sun velley Resort with all the ammenities. Powder Mountain is the largest ski area in North America, but it is totally laid back.

I was not let down! This was my first time skiing in Utah and it was amazing. After arriving March 3rd, we skied 5 consecutive days. I was sad to leave, but had I skied another day, my legs probably would have given out. There was fresh snow 4 of the 5 days, and finding hidden powder stashes was effortless. The week wouldn't have been a success without staying in the perfect house. It was only a few minutes from Powder Mountain and a short drive to Snowbasin. It was equipped with everything you need for some great apres ski relaxing. The hot tub really felt great after a day on the mountain, and the pool and foosball tables provided some friendly competition in the evenings. Having a full kitchen was great, and enabled us to stay in and cook most nights. The neighborhood was very quiet, which was a bonus. A few tips for any newcomers: Powder Mt. is a great spot, it's very laid back there, and uncrowded. It's easy to find fresh powder by just skiing a little way off the beaten path. Definitely pay the extra $15 to get a cat ride up Lightning Ridge. The views from there are breathtaking, and the backside was almost untouched. Before you head to Powder, stop by the local grocery store, where you can get tickets at a discounted rate. Snowbasin was also great. To me, the vibe there is a little more high-end than Powder, and you'll probably encounter more people, but, the terrain is vast, and it was still easy to find fresh powder. The Shooting Star Saloon is worth checking out, just be sure to be really hungry if you order the Star Burger (and you might want to schedule a nap afterwards too...). I plan to go back again in 2011, and would recommend this house to anyone looking to get away.

We came from France to spend 2 weeks in Wolf Creek this fall. Though we had seen pictures, we could not suppose the house was so large, so convenient, so warm and comfortable. Everything was perfect, from the beds to the pool ! And the spa...! We have hiked a lot, had much fun golfing (golf course just in the back of the house) and we are now thinking of planning another stay in this paradise. We recommend this exceptional property to those who look for a large house, very well equipped. Whoever you are, skier or hiker, golfer or horse rider, that property is the best. And for us, Frenchies, it was Paradise.

Perfectly located minutes from Powder Mountain and Snowbasin. This huge home is perfect for large or multiple families, and has enough room to sleep 12 people. Very spacious, plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and 2 separate living areas, with a full rec room and den to entertain with pool table, Foosball, and home theater with surround sound. The kitchen is perfectly equipped for any chef. Awesome views from the second floor deck complete with gas grill or just soak those tired bones in the outdoor hot tub with same mountain views before getting up to do it all over again. Why would you go anywhere else?

"Our Wolf Creek experience commenced with entering the front door of our beautiful accommodations in awe. A beautiful view of the mountains surrounded by lovely and comfortable furnishings immediately made us feel at home. The community was lovely, good grocery store and services - first class. Ski day one - 17 inches of new snow at Snow Basin. Normally we would not take a break until we were assured no fresh tracks were available; well forget about that out here! Lured by the most incredible lodge I have ever experienced, we dined in Earl's Lodge on gourmet food in front of a crackling fire, and skied freshies all afternoon. Day two - Powder Mt., 14 new inches, with better tracks than the day before. The week only got better with more new snow, sunshine, cat skiing and last day heli runs. I've been a lot of places in my years on the hill...New England, Whistler, Colorado, all of Utah, Calf. and New Mexico. but nothing compares to this experience. Our Wolf Creek home was beautiful and well equipped. This trip was simply amazing. Please keep it quiet!"

Stayed here in early January 2009. Great location, minutes from Snowbasin and Powder Mountain. This house has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is equipped with very nice small and large appliances as well as every pot, pan, utensil.. etc. that you would want. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are roomy, and the whole place is pristine. The outdoor hot tub and 2 car garage are added bonuses. All in all, a great place to relax after a fun day of skiing.

Eden's temptation

Unlike Adam and Eve, coming to Eden, UT, will not be seen as a bad decision. Our biblical friends may have needed more than a fig leaf or two for this snowy mountain setting. You'll just need some ski gear and an eagerness to explore all that is around you. A smile is guaranteed. True, when you come here you become self-aware. But it's more about unlocking your true self and love for skiing or boarding. Eden has that effect on you. Eden's location is so convenient in getting to both Powder Mountain and Snowbasin. If you have a car, you can bounce back and forth between the two mountains. If not, well just take the daily shuttle up to Powder. The snow was incredible the last two times I went - 70 inches in 7 days in 2007 and 62 inches in 5 days in 2008. I've never seen anything like it. Or if you are a beginner, there's a great little mountain at Wolf Creek. Whatever level you are, you'll ski your heart out. I'm already booked for 2009! The house was a perfect spot to relax after our long days of skiing. It's so spacious and bright. We relaxed over a couple of cocktails in the open air kitchen and living room area as we cooked dinner. Then it was down to the entertainment center for movies, games and a quick dip in the hot tub. With Warren Miller movies in the background and a roaring fireplace, you know you've come to skier's heaven. There's so much room you could hold a yoga class (which comes in handy). Each of the rooms is decorated with a comfortable, rustic feel. The beds and sofas are plush and they swallow you up. The entire house fosters a fun but relaxing group feel. The price was so right. Aside from a great deal for the house, you can get discount tickets to both mountains. Even the rentals were cheap. While this isn't a town with lots of nightly activities, you don't even care. You have everything you need at the house. Of course, if you venture out, I highly recommend the Shooting Star Saloon in nearby Huntsville. Best burger around. This is the perfect place for those couples seeking a fun week off or the family of hard-core skiers. In Utah, it's all about the powder so make the most of it. Thanks for everything!

First, a big thank you to the owners for creating a great ski house with COMFY beds, couches and chairs. After killing myself on the mountain it was a paradise to come back too. Loved the activities within the home as well; and chilled beers in a snowbank while soaking in the hot tub is always a good vacation!! Can't say we took in the town at night - the house provided us with movies we actually liked avec surround sound, a pool table and a fooseball table. The location of this place is PERFECT! We had a car but could have just taken the shuttle up to Powder each day. The location to Powder is undeniably the greatest thing - because when it started to snow at 5 p.m. and didn't let up until sometime in the wee morning - we knew we were getting up there for fresh tracks each day (yeah!)...and it was each day :) We did head over the Snow Basin for two days - which seemed to be a 20 minute drive - for this New Englander that beats any 3 hour drive any day...never mind the terrain and food rock! The food is really really good. We had a beginner skier with us in year 2 and Wolf Mountain is SO close and perfect for anyone who has never been on skies. I have booked for 08 and planning on booking again for 09, 10, and so on!
