Vacationing on Padaro Lane brings beach front privacy just minutes from Montecito and Santa Barbara. There is a good chance, however, that you won't want to leave the glassed in deck of this 830 square foot 1920's cottage with it's beach front location. From sunrise to sunset, the colors, mood, and presence of the ocean are in constant flux. Just steps from the living room, the broad sandy beach offers long walks, sightings of schools of dolphin, and greetings from the occasional fellow beach comber.
The cottage itself is filled with linen slip covered sofas, pillows, and beds. The fresh white bead board interior reflects an earlier time when quaint beach houses were the norm. There are down filled nooks in which to read, watch movies, write, visit, or just to nap in. Bunk beds covered with pastel ticking duvets offer comfortable nests beneath open windows that let the surf sounds and ocean breezes sooth the resting soul. If you like traditional classic cottage style, you will certainly enjoy this oceanic refuge. |
