Enjoy all the good things life has to offer at 'Moose Lodge' on the quiet side of Mirror Lake. A pleasant walk around the lake from the hustle and bustle of the village, the lodge welcomes you home with two wood-burning fireplaces, one in the living room on the main floor and one in the lower level family room. Kick your shoes off, put your feet up and relax. Firewood has been provided for your stay.
Ready for golf, hiking, or swimming? The world famous Lake Placid Club Golf Course is just down the street (about 1/2 mile), and access to many of the high peaks is within a few minutes drive from the house. Of course, you'll enjoy our private beach on Mirror Lake, just across the street, where our canoe is waiting for your personal use. The beach has a wonderful sand area for the children and a very shallow area for water play. Or, if you prefer, don your life jackets (provided at the house) and take the canoe for a paddle around the lake!
In winter, Lake Placid becomes the world's playground...and "Moose Lodge" sits right in it's center, only a short drive from Whiteface, the Olympic mountain, and incredible skiing! Easy cross-country and snowshoe trails nearby provide hours of outdoor fun for the whole family. Walk around Mirror Lake to the Olympic skating rinks, or warm up by the fireplace at the Lake Placid Brew Pub or The Cottage while enjoying your favorite beverage.
After a day of fun, fresh air and sunshine, come back to Moose Lodge where a new state-of-the-art kitchen awaits your culinary talents. Dine indoors under our antler chandelier or, on a sunny afternoon, outside on the bi-level deck where extra bench seating provides space for all of your guests.
When the day's activities wind down, retire to one of three bedrooms for a peaceful night's rest. The master bedroom, which occupies the entire upper level of the lodge, features a queen bed and private bath. Two additional bedrooms on the main floor share a full bath. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, while bedroom #3 sleeps three people with a set of bunks for the kids and a single twin bed. If you need additional sleeping facilities, the lower level family room is equipped with a sleeper/sofa and an adjacent full bath.
Awake the next morning to the call of the loons on Mirror Lake, stroll over to our private beach, and enjoy that first cup of coffee in the serenity of the lake and mountains. Will you ever want to leave Moose Lodge?

Our vacation home is Located on Mirror Lake Drive, a pleasant walk to the shops and restaurants in the village.
Our beach on Mirror Lake is only 200 yards from our house and features a sandy beach and shallow water play area for the children. We provide a canoe and life jackets for your use.
Walk around the lake to the many unique shops and restaurants.
The Olympic outdoor skating oval is open to the public. Indoor skating rinks are also available for skating, performances and hockey games.
