Charming solar home on 3/4 acres in historic North Valley of Albuquerque. 2300 heated living space, plus sun room with live plants, patio and lawn inside fenced yard. Security system, cooling system, dead end and quiet street. Watch the cranes migrate or the sunrise over the Sandia Mountains and sunset over the west mesa from front portal or back patio.

Three houses from (< 5 minutes walk) the Bosque at river with over 30 miles of hike/bike path. Fenced in large lawn with multiple quiet places. Less than 5 minutes to Old Town, Zoo, Bio Park, museums. UNM is @ 10 minutes.

Kiva fireplace plus wood stove, saltillo tile and brick floors throughout. King Select Comfort bed and flat screen TV/DVD in Master Suite,newly renovated master bath with Jacuzzi and newly renovated guest bath. New front load washer and new dryer. Full bed in one guest room and twin hide-a-bed in other guest room, all with quality linens. Living room, breakfast area, dining room, den.

Handicap Friendly-Single Story, no stairs except for one step down into living room.ADA Bath Fixtures

Comfortable (no bar) sofa bed in den and sleeping loft* in office. Loft is available for overflow guests at an additional charge.

  • We stayed at this wonderful home for the week surrounding our daughter's wedding in Albuquerque. It was ideal for us as it provided us with the perfect space to get together with friends as they came into town. The yard was so inviting - in fact, we had a drop-in croquet 'tournament' going most of the time we were there. Everything about this home was a delight, from the way the rooms were laid out to the tastefully decorated walls in each room. We are hopeful that the house will be available again when we plan our next visit to Albuquerque. Thanks Jack & Jetta!

  • We really enjoyed staying at the house-- it was very roomy and comfortable. It is a really neat example of the traditional adobe design-- something we don't see a lot of in FL! Jetta's folders with restaurant info/maps/attractions were great and she was able to answer any questions we had. Only negative was that cell reception inside of the thick adobe walls was kind of spotty. We had a great stay and would definitely come again!

  • Six of us enjoyed a wonderful five days basking in Jetta and Jack's warm hospitality. The house was well situated on a quiet dead-end road. We explored wineries, botanical gardens, cultural centers, and Old Town, all within a short drive. The house was roomy, comfy, and well equipped. We loved the folders of information on everything from walks and cultural attractions to the nearest grocery stores. It was great to relax in the backyard in the sun after a hard day's sightseeing and to know the fireplace was there should the weather turn cold. We stayed during the Balloon Fiesta and from our bedroom we could watch early-morning balloons drift down the river valley. We'd definitely consider a return visit.

  • WE (7) HAD 5 GREAT DAYS IN THIS GREAT HOME IN A GREAT LOCATION. PERHAPS 6 PEOPLE WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER BUT IT DID NOT HAMPER GOLF, CARD PLAYING,DRINKING AND EATING. PERHAPS JETTA AND JACK NEED MORE RECYLE BINS FOR BEER CANS AND BEER BOTTLES. WOULDN'T HESITATE TO RETURN NEXT YEAR.

  • Our stay here was wonderful for the 4 of us -- everything was what it was said to be, and a little more. The house was roomy, comfortable, and very pleasant. The location, close to Old Town, was superb for us. We would absolutely want to stay here again, and hope to do so next year.

  • Our stay at Jetta & Jack's adobe house was wonderful; we felt right at home. The house is large and roomy, but also very cozy. The location was perfect for exploring the many sites around Albuquerque - and we saw quite a few, with Chaco Canyon being a favorite. Jetta was very helpful, leaving folders and books with information and maps on places to go, things to do, and 'Shopping', either in Albuquerque or surrounding areas. We really liked Old Town. To top it all off, Katchina (their cat) was a charm. She had us brushing her morning and evening - what a cutie. We would stay here again.

  • We came down for a housing visit and decided to rent a house rather than a hotel. WOW, a huge comfy home with private backyard and views...all for the same price of a hotel! And the best part was the owners, Jetta and Jack. They had friendly little notes all over the house, a small stuffed bear for my little girl, and a folder full of city and dining information. We felt like we were staying with family (they even trusted us with their cat!) and now that we have moved to Albuquerque, have become good friends with Jetta and Jack! Thank you for a great stay.

  • This is a beautiful, spacious adobe home where we felt very comfortable & relaxed. Our family of four had plenty of room to spread out, yet we also felt very cozy and nurtured. It's ideally located..central to most parts of Albuquerque...yet very quiet & peaceful. We really enjoyed the wood stove and the gentle warmth it provided us during our Christmas stay, making it rarely necessary to turn up the thermostats. Jetta and Jack are lovely, kind people with a delightful sense of style. They provide a very special place. Oliver and Janna Pijoan
