FYI - this house suffered no damage from hurricane Sandy. The house, the surrounding area and the beach is fine. Most damage was done on the north and south end of the island and to properties near the bay.
Just one week left for the 2013 season - last week of August.
This is it! Just 20 steps from the beach! Recently built, the house is a three story, 2500 sq. ft. contemporary, reverse living house with spectacular ocean and bay views, four decks including an incredible roof deck. It sleeps a maximum of 12 people and features two master bedrooms suites. This house has the best amenities - open kitchen with stainless steel appliances, kitchen island with cook top and breakfast bar seating for six, full sound system throughout the house and decks, four flat panel TVs including 50' HDTV home theater in living room, 10 person dining room table and much much more. We provide everything for a first class vacation (beach badges, beach chairs / umbrellas, bed linens, basic food items, etc). We (the owners) clean and prep the house ourselves before each rental. Be aware of renting through agencies or rentals that use cleaning services. There are cheaper house for rent but no better! SORRY - NO PROM GROUPS, no pets, no smoking.
Rent From Property Owner: Renting directly from a property owner is a very different experience than renting through an agency. When renting this house, you will be communicating and dealing directly with the owner and not an employee sitting at a desk in a rental agency. Also you will be paying less because we don't have to pay a commission to an agency. Finally you can be assured that the house will be spotless and in pristine condition because we (the owners - husband and wife) clean and prep the house ourselves between each rental. All this leads to you getting the perfect house for your vacation. In looking through the listings on this site you'll notice the rental agencies can't even be bothered to write a title description for their properties. They instead use a number. How much do they care about a property when they can't even be bothered to write a descriptive title. Do you really want to be treated like a number on your vacation?. Even if you don't rent Sunny Escape - be sure to rent from an owner - trust me.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home - we especially loved the roof deck. The home was clean, comfortable and right near the beach. Lovely.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

You could not ask for a nicer beach home to live in for a week, simple as that--and I don't think a nicer home in LBI exists! Worth every penny, I must say. The house was so comfortable we did not want to go home. Just beautiful. Roomy, decks all over, the best mattresses, open kitchen, everything seemed brand new. Any convenience you could dream up is already in this house. The owners have impeccable taste.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Friendly neighborhood; beautiful, clean, comfortable home; comfortable beds; great views from windows and decks, of bay & ocean; didn't need the AC once; well equipped kitchen; convenient location - short walk to beach, groceries, mini-golf, shopping. The house was everything it was represented to be, and more. This home is beautiful! It is extremely clean, well cared for and stocked with everything you could ask for to make your vacation a joyful time. The owners are experienced and easy to work with. Everything is in great working order and much work has gone into making this a home you can be comfortable in. The photos are accurate, but I have to say it's even nicer in person! Everyone in our party loved it. It's large and airy, has enough square footage for a large family or two with extra room to spare. The location is ideal, close to everything, yet located on a nice family oriented street. Being just two houses from the ocean, we enjoyed great views from inside and outside the house. The view from the kitchen window would make anyone want to wash dishes (even with the dishwasher there!) The roof deck is amazing as are the first and second floor decks. Outdoor furniture is comfortable and plentiful. The bedrooms are large, bedding is comfortable and linens are provided. A full size laundry area makes keeping up on laundry a breeze. The sound system and entertainment equipment are good quality. The master bedroom and bath are top quality. The junior master bedroom is the icing on the cake! If you are on the fence trying to decide, go for it! You won't be disappointed.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I have rented lovely homes on Long Beach Island for many years - however this home is by far the loveliest! The home is beautiful, clean, great views, and many, many thoughtful amenities. The no smoking and no pets is a wonderful plus, as well as a wonderfully stocked kitchen, and plentiful beach chairs, beach badges, beach umbrellas, and bicycles for renters use Owners were very nice to deal with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The house is beautiful with every amenity you could ask for...sirius radio throughout house, beautiful flat screen TV's in most rooms, beach chairs, umbrellas, upscale appliances, beautiful indoor and outdoor shower...and so much more. The large kitchen/living area is perfect for a large or small group. The house was extremely clean, clutter free, baby friendly, and truly just steps away from the beach. The upper balcony has a breath taking view. The owners were very responsive and wonderful to deal with. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for an upscale beach house.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.
