Location: Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas, Caribbean (10 minutes from the airport)
Accommodations: Condo, 3 Bedrooms + No additional sleeping rooms avail, 3 Baths (Sleeps 6)
Keywords: Condominium
Our unit is on the end of a private, gated, condo complex called Port of Call 1. Port of Call (1 and 2) is a high end, owner occupied luxury condo complex on the south side of the island. It is a 10 min ride from the airport which is on the north side of the island.
With two wrap around balconies, we have been told by many visitors that this unit has some of the best views on the island. The unit occupies the second and third floors of the 3 story building. The second floor contains the kitchen, dining room, living room, bath, and bedroom while the third floor contains two bedrooms and two baths. The condo has been recently painted and is in pristine condition.
A beautiful pool for condo residents is rarely used, so you will probably have it to yourself.
Please feel free to call with any questions. Joe.

CAN'T BEAT THE VIEW

My family of 5 had a wonderful vacation at Freeport. The condo is beautiful. The views from the condo are unbelievable. My kids had a blast snorkeling right outside, searching for hermit crabs and chasing the lizards. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the wrap around porch in the mornings. I'll miss that the most. The only issue we had was with the 3rd bedroom. It was a perfect size room for my teen, but the mattress on the pullout couch was horrendous. He couldn't sleep on it, so he ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room for the whole week. It would have been perfect if we had had a blow-up mattress to use in that room. But other than that, the condo was perfect and the owners were very helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.
Owner response:Thank you for info on mattress. Problem will be solved.

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo. What a beautiful view! The kids had a blast snorkeling everyday and finding sea creatures, sand biscuits, conch and even catching an eel. The condo was very spacious, the grounds were beautiful and the local people were all so nice and helpful. We rented a vehicle and traveled all over the island, we felt safe and welcomed by the Bahamian people. This was a perfect place to get away from the "resort" atmosphere and truly relax, that's my kind of vacation! Thanks again for allowing us to stay at your condo, we will be back.
Owner response:Nicole, so happy you enjoyed our unit. Welcome back anytime. Joe

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this location. This condo unit experiences both sunrise and sunset on it's 2 decks... just feet away from the beach which is quite private. The view of the ocean and beach are unobstructed. Photos and information were completely reliable. There was lots of comfortable seating in the living/dining areas for 6 people - good for tv watching or playing games together. The owners and neighbors were extremely friendly and helpful...we felt very "at home" here.
Owner response:Adelle, thank you for your generous commentary. come and see us again. Joe

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much at this location. It is close to a dive shop and their services, right on the water and provides for a safe area for children to play in the water and it's on a section of the island that sees very little traffic so noise and crowds is not an issue. I would be glad to visit this area and home again in future travels.

Our family spent 2 weeks here from 29march thru 2 april 2008. We found the location and accomadations very good for us. The views are fantastic, the property was well maintained. The area quiet, the beach great. Even saw a "pirate ship" 3 masted square sails. The condo has LOTS of room. Simply a great , quiet place.
