Great Home away from Home!!

We very much enjoyed our time spent at "A Stone's Throw". It was located within walking distance to everything in Gardiner and was absolutely beautiful inside. The house was very clean and had ample space for our large group. No matter which window you chose to look out, the views were stunning. We can't wait to get back out that way next year and there is no question, that "A Stone's Throw "will be our base camp one again!

We had a wonderful time at "A Stone's Throw." The house was perfect for having so many children together for a week. There were plenty of beds as well as space for everyone to play and enjoy themselves. The lack of yard was no problem because of the playground and running track just a short walk away. We loved it and will remember it for our next large gathering at Yellowstone!

Berg/Webster family vacation July 2010

We are an extended family of 4 sisters and their families, and our mom coming from the east coast on our first venture "out west", who thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "A stone's throw". There were 18 of us who stayed here for the week. We vacation together every year and as it is very cost-effective to share the a large vacation home we have been able to stay in some very nice rental properties through the years! I was a bit skeptical as to whether this home would be large enough for us and was very pleased with the size of the rooms, as well as the appearance and cleanliness of it. The bedrooms were very large and the kitchen was awesome! We prepared dinner twice and ate out the other nights. It was fun walking up the street into the town for meals, ice cream and a little shopping. We spent the week in Yellowstone and spent one day on the Bear Tooth Pass in Montana. It was a perfect home base for all these activities!!!! We enjoyed opening the windows after a day of hiking in Yellowstone and feeling those cool mountain breezes! Our 5 girl cousins enjoyed sharing the large room in the attic and we all had a blast with the air hockey! Our family agreed this was "our best vacation ever!" I highly recommend "A Stone's Throw"! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!

We stayed here from July 5-7, 2009 for a family reunion. We had a party of 20 and let us tell you that the house and attic more than accommodate all of us. The house/attic were very spacious and the amenities were awesome. The property is located right in Gardiner and was very convenient to the entrance of Yellowstone and town. We highly recommend this property and Wendi was very nice and professional to work with.

I coordinated a party of Europeans to stay in The Stone's Throw and Attic during the summer of 2008. Wendy was very helpful, informative and a joy to work with. Everyone was delighted with the cleanliness, ammenities and the space of the accommodation. My daughter is coordinating a party of families for next year and I have recommended that she book with Wendi.

What a wonderful week we enjoyed at Stone's Throw. The house is so spacious, clean and bright, and the kitchen nicely equipped. This is a perfect location to see Yellowstone and the surrounding area, and a great place for a large group. The nine of us enjoyed every minute!

What a wonderful place. We had a family reunion in June 2008 and rented both A stone's Throw and The Attic. There were 15 adults and 3 children between the 2 places and there was plenty of room. The houses were very clean and well stocked. The views of the surrounding mountains were fantastic. There was parking for 5 vehicles. There was very little traffic on the street and we could walk to the stores in Gardiner. We will definitely rent this place again.

We enjoyed our stay at A Stone's Throw and Wendy was wonderful to deal with. The proximity to the park was perfect, as we spent most of our time there. We also used Flying Pig for a full day raft trip, which was awesome. The home was well appointed and had lots of room and all of the conveniences. The beds are comfortable and everything was clean. It was a great place to relax after long, adventurous days!
