This beautiful, spacious five bedroom, 2 plus 2 half bath, colonial styled home sits on a 1/2 acre at the end of a private road and is equipped with a cook's country kitchen, hardwood floors, stone fire place, 18x36 pool, out door shower, garage, covered front porch, hanging surfboard storage, rear cedar deck and private rear yard.
The main level offers a giant sized master bedroom with sliding rear door access to pool deck and separate private closet and bathroom. This room is ideal for couples with a newborn or toddlers. A cook's country kitchen, Basque dining room table that comfortably seats twelve, powder room, stone fireplace and two living rooms complete the main level.
There a four wonderfully sized bedrooms upstairs, each with a Queen bed.
One half bath and one full bath with tub are located upstairs along with a foyer area for reading or watching TV. The upstairs also has a washer, dryer and linen closet.
The property is beautifully landscaped and has ample yard space for small children to play, or to spread out a blanket and read or relax underneath the shade of a tree or the warmth of sun. It is situated just off West Lake Drive, near Montauk Downs Golf Course, a short two minute drive to the beach, town or harbor.

Why the Owner Chose Montauk
We've been going to Montauk since we were kids and always rented a hotel by the Ocean. The east end of long island is a very special place where you feel disconnected from your daily routine and enjoy the laid back lifestyle. After years of staying in hotels, we decided it was time to buy a home that we could enjoy year round. Montauk is a great place to surf, fish, golf or read a good book by the shore.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Having the house enables you to persoanlize the family vacation. Groups don't go off to their own respective hotel rooms. Instead, a large dining area and an open kitchen provide a setting for family reunions and dinner parties that cannot be replicated anywhere but in your private vacation home.

We were a family of 8 adults plus 5 young children. This house couldn't have been better! Spacious and a fabulous backyard. The bedrooms and other rooms were big, the house was extremely clean and very nicely decorated. There were many bathrooms to accommodate all of us. The pool, deck, yard and fire pit sitting area were just beyond our expectations. The house came with a bose ipod dock, pool floats, bath towels and sheets for our convenience. The front deck was really nice for hanging around too. The washer/dryer were top notch and conveniently located upstairs. We hardly needed to leave the house all week, we had everything we needed and more for a great vacation! The owner was very accommodating and easily reachable as well.

06/27/2011 - I recently stayed in a spectacular house in Montauk New York and all I can say is WOW. This was more than just a place to stay while visiting Montauk…this place was a vacation of its own with all the amenities a traveler could need. The house was immaculate, with spacious rooms and super comfortable beds. One of the most incredible parts of the trip is the private swimming pool and enormous fire pit right outside the dinning room doors What an amazing home! If you are looking for a true beach vacation, look no further.. The home feels very secluded, but is really only a short drive to Montauk’s best food and shopping. A big book of local restaurant menus was left as well, which was very helpful. there is plenty of space for everyone and being so close to the beach is a huge plus! In June, my girlfriends and I stayed at this house. We had an amazing time. The house slept 12. We were so comfortable. The house was so clean with large living areas. We never felt cluttered. It had every luxury we could have needed. We swam in the pool during the day, went for amazing dinners in the evening then would come back to house and hang out around the fire pit. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. I am hoping to return before the end of the summer with my family.

Our large group of friends had such a great Memorial Day weekend at your house! It was a great secluded location, with a phenomenal back yard! We were able to have a few friends to the house for dinner and to hang out by the pool and never felt crowded. This is the perfect getaway house for any size group. The master bedroom is gorgeous and I will miss the high ceilings!

We stayed at this house in the off-season in April. Arturo was great and so helpful. The house is beautiful and was perfect for our group of ten. We especially loved the open kitchen next to the dining room table. It is a great space for cooking and dinner parties. Thank you for a great weekend!

This house provided us with the ability to have a wonderful vacation. The house was perfect for our family of 9 - 5 adults and 4 children, ages 3 - 8. The kids loved the pool and play areas, the adults loved the spacious rooms, cooking facilities, washer/dryer, fire pit and hammock. Grandma loved her own room and bath. We all loved the secluded setting, nearness to beaches, towns and activities. Your house provided comfort and utility. It was all it was advertised to be and more. We had such a fantastic time we hope to be able to come again.

This rental house is one of the most beautiful houses we've ever rented. It doesn't feel like a rental property at all; it feels like your own home. Everything that was offered in the VRBO description is more than accurate; sometimes not even described as beautifully as it is in reality. All of us, friends and familiy, greatly enjoyed opporunities to cook together in the great kitchen, swim together in the pool, sit around the firepit together in the evenings and play games and watch TV in the many living rooms areas. I don't want to sound like a TV commercial, but this house is really great. For a house with a pool, you cannot beat the location which is central to everything. It is a stone's throw form Ditch Plains Beach, the regular town beach, the Lighthouse, Gossman's, Gurney's, the center of town, fabulous restaurants, ... and on and on.... We had a blast !!!

My experience at this rental location was more than I could have asked for. The house was immaculately clean, spacious, and luxurious. When I was planning my trip, I narrowed my search down to 5 houses. I took the trip up to Montauk beforehand to get a upfront look at all of the properties. Please feel confident that this house is as advertised! The same cannot be said of the other properties that I visited. The owners attention to detail made for an outstanding experience. Towels, linens, all provided. Beach chairs, lawn games, all provided. Pool, grill, hammock, fire pit, large driveway, air conditioned sleeping quarters, Two T.V. viewing living rooms, BOSE speakers, all provided. Secluded is the perfect description for this house, your noise level should bother nobody! Close Proximity to Montauk Downs 2 Mile Drive To Town And Beach
