Located in the "desirable" Southeast side of town, 3 miles from the Plaza. Convenient to the town "scene", yet removed to its own quiet world. This adobe is among a small grouping of 4 buildings sharing 4 acres of Mother Nature.
Come experience the joy, love, and tranquillity of my Desert Dream Inn. Step out the bedroom door onto the portal and private courtyard to enjoy morning coffee. Leave this peaceful haven and venture by foot, bike, bus, or car into the City Different. Come back, relax once again, and enjoy the "remains of the day" complete with its majestic sunsets! Of course world-class eateries abound, but some meals you might really enjoy preparing in the spacious, well equipped kitchen.

My attraction to this vacation spot is still strong, as it offers much serenity and charm of an adobe home, away from the intensity of the city experience yet closeby. And no doubt you already know "magical" Santa Fe offers a unique travel experience. It is rich in cultural diversity, workshops, outdoor experiences, and a hob from which to experience other areas of New Mexico including Taos.
The Unique Benefits of this House
I get to enjoy birds at the feeder nearby while distance mountains feed my soul ! I get to see some farm animals (goats and chickens) belonging to a wonderful neighbor; I drive by a small corn field along the long driveway. There is an arroyo next to our land which I sometimes enjoy walking for long distances or I take my bike out and ride around

My husband and I have rented this house three times in the past year and a half and would highly recommend it. At this point it has become “our” vacation home and as long as it is available we will continue to rent it anytime we are in Santa Fe. When you are at the house you feel as though you are in the country though in fact you are only a few minutes from any place you would want to go in Santa Fe. The neighborhood is which it is located is a great place for walking or jogging. The house is adobe with walls that are a foot thick and two courtyards. It has a large pleasant well stocked kitchen. There are skylights in both the bedroom and bathroom. The house is perfect for a couple. Two places nearby I would recommend are Tent Rocks National Monument and the Pecos National Historical Park.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+.

Desert Dream'N is located in a secluded compound of amazing adobe structures. While you will have "neighbors" it is a very quiet and enticing property. Desert Dream'N is a compact and comfortable home away from home... and in area of Santa Fe I would love to be a permanent part of. You can enjoy an amazing walk... but it is too far out to walk to the Plaza. This is a personally managed property therefore some gaps exist. Bianca was a very nice lady to work with and has created a comfortable home. She is very easy to work with and has a beautiful laid back personality. She does not provide a contract as she manages with a "laid back" attitude. However, the property was not cleaned before our arrival and it appeared as if it hadn't been deep cleaned in a VERY long time. Upon arrival, we could not locate the key and spent about 30 minutes searching. Once we stepped inside we met charming. As we got to looking closer... I ended up scrubbing the tub and sink and would have cleaned the toilet had I found the necessary tools. In addition, laundry had been left in the dryer. The flooring, which is amazing, hadn't been cleaned in a long time and I had to vacuum a bit just to get up some immediate dirt. I would stay here again... if the property were better cleaned and less cluttered. It was an excellent price but needs some serious TLC. While in the city... be sure to check out Vinagerette ... a fresh alternative to salads! We ate here twice!
