Nice, rural cabin at an affordable price

We stayed at this home over Thanksgiving with 3 young children and my two elderly parents. The kids loved exploring the large yard and I loved the value. The amenities are not perfect and the property is not professionally managed, but the value trumps the few inconveniences. The inconveniences were a leaky dishwasher, very low water pressure, a wifi password that didin't work and limited kiitchen ware. On the positive side the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with pantry basics, the location was perfect, the home was nicely accesorized, plenty of comfortable seating and wonderful outdoor deck and porch plus a garage for 2 cars. All in all we had a wonderful visit, thank you Linda for opening your home to us.

PERFECT PLACE TO RELAX

My wife and I needed to get away for a few days and wanted a quite, private and relaxing place...We found it in this wonderful Mountain Hideaway. The area of Cedar Crest has everything you need for a relaxing get-a-way or you can take a short drive to Albuquerque (we did twice) or visit Golden, Madrid and Sandia Crest for short trips. The house is clean and well layed out with everything you need. We spent most of our time on the front deck enjoying the breezes, grilled one night and ate on the back covered porch. I told Linda all she needed to do was put a bed on the front porch, which is more like a covered deck. Would we stay again? You betcha! Thanks Linda for making this place feel so much like home...We'll be back!

The Land of Enchantment

We just returned from a road trip from Florida to visit our chilren and grandchildren in Texas and Colorado. We decided to spend some time in New Mexico to relax and vacation a bit before the drive home to Florida. Even though check in was not until 4:00 PM, Linda was gracious enough to give us access to the house as soon as we arrived. This was our first time renting a home through the VRBO website and it turned out perfectly. House looks exactly like the pictures on the website. The home is very comfortable and attractively decorated. I did not expect the house to be so well equipped....Linda thinks of everything. Coming from Florida, we really appreciated the cool evenings and mornings. The location is perfect as it is easy to get to both Albuquerque and Santa Fe and also right by the Turquoise Trail and lots of interesting local places to see. I hope we will get the opportunity to travel to Mexico again and we would definitely want to stay at Casa Linda!

Owner response:Lovely metting you and your husband. Any time your return to My Mountain Hideaway please stay for an extnded one night Free. I am pleased that you were cofortable, Me Casa es su Casa.

Met all expectations

This beautiful "cabin" which is really a very well equipped residence has been decorated with beautiful colors and attention to detail. We have rented over a dozen houses through VRBO in various parts of the world and this place ranks at the very top. The owner is also first rate and we all had a beautiful experience and felt very much at home. The pictures simply don't do justice to this great lodging once you enter it and feel the many textures live with the beautiful colors and decorations.

I took my great-niece (13) and 2 great nephews (12 & 8)to the beautiful home in Cedar Crest, NM. We had a great time, it even snowed so the kids could play in it. The home is beautiful and cozy and Linda is a dear. She only wants you to enjoy your stay and will do everything to make that happen. Thank you Linda.

Casa Linda was home away from home. Such a beautiful place, in a beautiful location, with such wonderful hospitality. My family and I (we have 2 small boys) loved our experience there, and will definitely go back again and again. I highly recommend Casa Linda. Beautiful!

we stayed for a week. The house is clean and comfortable. There is pretty much everything you would need. The front porch is nice for enjoying your coffee or a glass of wine. Only thing missing is a clock in the bedroom

We were passing through on a 17 day road trip and stayed for 2 nights. I cant tell you how peaceful and beautiful this home is. I wish we could have stayed much longer. Linda was very kind to us as we showed up alittle early and she still welcomed us and made us feel at home. I would recommend this home to anyone. I hope we can come back soon.

Our stay in this lovely home was thoroughly enjoyable. We booked the home in January and our plans were to ski at Sandia, which has mostly green and blue runs. Unfortunately, Sandia closed a week before we arrived. So our skiing was done at Santa Fe, a pleasant 75 minute drive north up the Turquoise Trail. We like to cook, so we really enjoyed using the well appointed kitchen for breakfast and dinner. The home offered everything we expected, and more. It is both attractive and comfortable. It would make an excellent place for a summer getaway. The two outdoor areas (patio with gas grill in back plus a lovely deck in the front) make this an excellent retreat for just relaxing. We will be back again, maybe in the summer for sightseeing, or in Jan/Feb for skiing. We definitely recommend it.

Casa Linda is a great retreat, my husband and I had some very relaxing moments on the front porch, in the morning enjoying coffee and reading. In the evening we enjoyed the back patio and star gazing with a glass of wine. The home is very clean & charming with New Mexican decor. We had everything we needed in a vacation getaway and we are coming back soon! Thanks Linda

What a bueatiful home and a most gracious hostess. This home is decorated so comfortably and the beds were like sleeping on clouds. My kids loved thier stay here as well. The front deck was a great secluded hideaway in the woods. Great location, close to the city but quiet and far enough away to feel like you were in natures backyard. Nice kitchen, baths and we felt right at home.

It was my great pleasure to be a guest at the home of Casa Linda in Cedar Crest, New Mexico. Nestled among the trees in the Mountains Linda's Mountain Hiedeaway is a wonderful, restful place to stay. Beautifully decorated inside and out its a home away from home. My favorite place was the front deck where one can watch the sun rise over the Mountains in the morning and also enjoy the cool breezes. Wild flowers and cactic of all kinds make a walk thru the woods a real treasure hunt.
