Great location on year round water, superb lake views. Two bay floating dock with 800 square feet top deck, which is great for sunbathing or having a leisure day with a book. Evenings are great on the top deck. As the sun peaks over the ridge, you have a nice shaded deck for evening dining. You can enjoy your time on the screened porch and have breakfast on the deck adjacent to the house.
The master is on the main floor with two additional bedrooms up in this cute Cape Cod cottage. A short drive into the town of Wedowee will have you at the center of shopping for your necessities. You will also find antique stores and restaurants.
Approximately six miles by water to the local marina with lakeside fueling, where you can rent a water craft by the day or longer. Twenty-five minutes off Interstate 20, and you can relax and leave your worries behind.
The boat launch area is near the home. This is a public launch. There is only six homes between our place and the launch.

Year Purchased: 1999
This is such a fun spot for our entire family. We have three children and six grandchildren and this place has made so many wonderful memories for all of us. My Mother who is going to be 84 years young this year also loves this place. My Mom can sit and watch activity passing by on the water. Only 21 steps to the two bay floating dock, so that makes it accessible for the young and the elderly.
Why the Owner Chose Lake Wedowee
After looking at several different lakes, we decided on Lake Wedowee because of the clean water and the landscape. We decided on the house because we fell in love with the view.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We especially enjoy the dock. We have meals on the dock and with three daughters we have a great time enjoying the sun.

We believe you will enjoy your stay. The view is awesome and one of the best on this lake. You will also appreciate the deep water which is year round. No matter when you visit, you can enjoy getting in and out of your water craft at the covered aluminum floating dock. Your water craft will appreciate it also.The top deck is great for gatherings, sunbathing etc. The sun is on it in the morning and it is shaded in the evenings. The walk to the water is a mere 21 steps. You have an outdoor deck at the house plus the screened porch.This house is smoke free and no pets are allowed! No carpet, all hardwood or vinyl flooring.
