"Endless Friendship" is just 30 steps to the ocean access, with great ocean views, and you can fall asleep to the sounds of the surf. Plenty of decking and lots of room, plus many extras for the kids, pets, and adults.

Our home is well loved and maintained. The game room is on the ground floor with foosball, game table for bumper pool or cards, stereo and TV. It also has a refrigerator for drinks so they are easily accessible from the pool. We have ocean/pool toys, chairs and lounges, and five bikes for many fun times.

There are two picnic tables under cover, and plenty of parking. Although we are at the ocean end of a quiet cul-de-sac, we are less than a mile to shops, restaurants, and movies. Free Wi-Fi is available. There is one king master and two queen masters, plus a captain's watch for reading, visiting or relaxing and enjoying the ocean.

Why the Owner Chose Crown Point

Although we spent time together in the Army, we all love the water. We found the Outerbanks to be great for family fun, and now just relaxing, especially up in Corolla.
We fell in love with our place in Crown Point as soon as we saw it. It is located at the end of a quiet street, only 30 steps from the beach access, with great views out to the ocean. We love just sitting around the pool sipping a drink and watching our dogs play. We have met almost all the neighbors and it is like a family get together at the holidays. The cul-de-sac arrangement of the street means hardly any traffic, and walks are very relaxing.

The Unique Benefits at this House

We love being only 1 mile from the grocery store and a nice small shopping plaza. There are many restaurants and a theater nearby. We are very close to the wild horse sanctuary and the 4-wheel drive beach access. Jody was the only one of the 4 of us brave enough (or would that be crazy enough) to experience the thrill of tandem hang gliding and see the bay, beach and ocean from over 1000 feet up. The community pool in Crown Point is a great place for larger gatherings, and the tennis courts are a great activity for the athletic, or not so athletic, guests. In our younger days we would take the kids on jet skis, sailing,or to the aquaruim. Now that our children are adults, our favorite way to unwind is sitting in the shade on the deck in the evening, looking out over the ocean.

 

Owner's Map of Crown Point

Our home is owned jointly by two families, the Walker's and the Post's. Ken Walker and Jody Post both went to West Point, were Airborne Rangers and spent 7 years in the Army. We started spending a lot of time together in 1976. Jody and Linda left the Army first and settled in Northeast PA, with Jody going to work for Procter & Gamble. Ken and Elaine followed that same year and Ken also went to work for P&G, then transferred to the same location. Elaine and Linda are both still school teachers and Ken and Jody have retired from P&G. Ken is now a Safety Counsultant, and Jody just retired in June of this year. Each family has an older boy and younger daughter. The daughters were the maid/matron of honor for the other. Our first trip to the Outerbanks was in 1981, and we have been going back ever since. We have always had pets, and wanted a place where they could join us and enjoy the beach.
