Our three-level townhouse, nicknamed the "KrodelSmith Kabin," is located just blocks from historic downtown Frisco, Colorado, and just minutes away from world-class ski resorts including Breckenridge, Keystone, and Copper Mountain. Convenience, comfort, and quiet are what you will find at Frisco Bay.
Unlike many listings you will see, our townhouse is privately owned AND privately listed (not part of a property management company). We are just good people hoping to share our place with other good people like you.
First, let us tell you a little more about our location- right in the heart of ski country; five miles to Copper (please inquire about discount passes), nine miles to Breckenridge, ten miles to Keystone, 12 miles to Arapahoe Basin, 25 miles to Vail, and 30 miles to Beaver Creek. Our 'Kabin' is also in the heart of Frisco, a quaint mountain town filled with fine restaurants, a historic district from the 1800s, a western-style main street, and galleries showcasing local artists and crafters.
How about other activities?!
For you cross-country, snowshoe, and boating enthusiasts, you will find the Frisco Nordic Center and Marina at Lake Dillon just across the street! Our biking guests enjoy our two 'cruiser' bikes and Summit County's paved bike paths which can take you to Breckenridge, Keystone or as far as Vail! For those who enjoy staying on their feet, hiking trails abound! One of our favorite local trails is practically right out our back door, but of course there are plenty of 14,000-foot peaks nearby to choose from. An excellent professional golf course can be found right in Copper Village.
Just five minutes east of Frisco are the towns of Dillon and Silverthorne, home to dozens of factory outlet stores, movie theaters, 'bix box' retailers and many more dining choices.
Now the skinny on our place. It's VERY pet-friendly (but no more than two dogs at a time please!). There is a big common-area back yard that is perfect for playing fetch and most of the local hiking trails are dog friendly. We've also got a comfy dog bed and food/water bowls to help make your canine friends feel right at home!
And for humankind, our townhouse has it all! <:-)
When you walk in the front door, you'll see a rack of slippers; slip into a pair and start enjoying your vacation. On the first floor, relax in front of our gas fireplace, watch a movie from our sizable collection play one of our many board games or dive into one of our many puzzles. If it's fresh air you seek - take in the soothing view from our deck while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate. Or, if you like to cook, have fun with our fully-equipped kitchen, gas grill, and cozy dining area.
Upstairs is the master bedroom with a comfy king-sized bed, a balcony with gorgeous mountain views, TV/VCR, and a spacious dual-sink bathroom. Downstairs you will find two bedrooms, both with windows that let in the warm sunlight. One room has a bunk bed perfect for kids/singles; the other offers a comfy queen-sized bed. The downstairs bathroom has a shower as well as a washer and dryer.
And your experience would not be complete without a relaxing dip in the hot tub, just a few feet out the front door. Yum.
Other amenities include a one-car garage and two additional parking spaces; a welcome basket filled with information and discounts to local restaurants, ski areas, activity centers, etc. as well as the little added touches that come from owners who care about their place and the comfort of their guests.
