Excellent hotel-style room!

Since we were only a couple, we opted to stay in Anne's lock-off room, and it exceeded our expectations. She provided additional items that we weren't expecting, like a coffee pot, dishes, silverware, iron and ironing board, beach chairs, and beach toys. All of this was a great value, since it was provided at a cost that was far less than that of a hotel room, yet provided far more amenities than a hotel room. We went to the beach everyday and always trekked back to see the amazing sunsets. The view from the condo was very relaxing when we didn't want to bake on the beach (it's not an ocean-view, but still nice with palm trees, beautiful flowers, and LOTS of birds). Beyond the best beaches being right next door, the pool, grills, tennis courts, and parking areas were just footsteps from the condo door. Anne was so helpful that she even let us have a late checkout since she had no one checking in the day we checked out, and she didn't even charge us extra. We truly had a wonderful time, and I would recommend this condo to any couple looking for a relaxing, yet cost-effective getaway in Kihei.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Very comfortable and feels very private

This is the most quiet condo I have stayed in out of the 7 times I have stayed in Kihei. Even being in the mid level section there was no noise from upstairs or down stairs. It is very unique in that there is the one bedroom "hotel" type room with a microwave and fridge that can be separate or included with the attached one bedroom with living room and kitchen for more people. It was clean and comfortable and Anne was extremely pleasant and personable. I liked the location of the barbeques by the pool as opposed to out in the middle of the lawn area. It is a good central location in Kihei with one of the best beaches right across the street. I would stay in this condo again, definitely! thank you Anne! Melanie

We stayed in the one bedroom one bath unit. The unit was clean, roomy and had everything that we needed. It felt like our home away from home. The location is amazing. We were walking distance to the beaches right across the street and there is plenty of places to eat and shop. The pool was almost outside our door and it was immaculate. Anne is very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Her communication is excellent and we will be back and staying in her unit again in the future. Once again, thank you Anne for making our vacation a pleasure.

Wonderful stay in Kihei

Everything was as promised, The room was clean and smoke free!!! My wife and I stayed here as an extension to a group vacation at a local resort. We stayed in the "hotel style room" condo and traveled the Island for a few days. There is a coffepot, microwave, mini fridge, hair dryer, beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, lantern... Yep most everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, clean towels under the sink (we didn't find them until checkout). Sunsets at the beach were awesome, we saw many people using the pools and barbeques, we just didn't find the time to try them but they looked great. A great value for the quality of the units. Also has tennis courts, and a carwash area, safe and abundant parking included.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Fantastic place, we love it!

This was our 2nd time staying at the Maui Banyon. This time we stayed in the unit with the kitchen and LOVED IT. Anne is amazing to work with, very detailed, and very good at keeping in communication. The unit is very nice, very clean and everything we needed to cook with, was in the unit (dishes and spices wise) we were shocked at all the things that were in there. Our family loved staying in Anne's place and next time we are in Maui, we will return for sure. You will enjoy the condo, the pool, hot tub, bbq's and the beach across the street, and eating dinner on the lanai. Don't miss the opportunity to stay at Anne's place, you won't be upset you did.

Stayed in the "hotel style" room and it was perfect for our trip!

We recently stayed in the "hotel style" room. It was perfect for our needs. There is a mini fridge, micro wave, beach chairs, a cooler, beach towels, a picnic set, utensils, a coffee maker, cups and everything that you will need for your vacation. Don't forget to use the lantern provided when you go up halekala to see the sunrise. It isn't a condo but truly a "hotel style room" and the owner does have bigger condos, but it was perfect for our stay. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner functioned great. It was the perfect get a way for this young couple. We didn't spend much time in our room during the day but when we were there it was very comfortable and a nice location to return to. It is in a very central location generally on the island and exactly 543 steps until you place your chair on the beach, so it is sheltered from noise. I highly recommend this to a couple who is looking for a good deal and is planing and conquering the island. We had initially looked at renting more expensive places nearby and were really glad we didn't. The amenities allow you heat food , grill it poolside, go out to dinner and save the left overs for a picnic, and most importantly make morning coffee. I found the owner a pleasure to work with and very much on top of things.
