Our home is located on beautiful Joes Pond and is available for rent year round. Joes Pond is the biggest pond in Vermont that is still called a pond. The rental of our home includes a canoe and kayak. There are many opportunities for fun during any season!! In the summer there is: canoeing, kayaking, waterskiing, tubing, swimming, sailing, hiking, etc. In the winter you can: snowmobile, ski, snowboard, sled, etc. In the fall there are lots of local events centered around the foliage. Watching the leaves change is an amazing sight!! In the spring there is: hiking, canoeing, kayaking, etc. Our home is located 2 minutes from the VAST trail and has a covered "garage area" off of the back of the house where you can store a small car or snowmobiles. Our home has a dock that is available for boat storage and there are boat rentals nearby. We are located about 45 minutes from Stowe, 30 minutes from Burke, a little over an hour from Jay Peak, and 50 minutes from the Canadian Border. The closest large town is Saint Johnsbury (15 minutes away). St. Johnsbury has museums, a movie theater, restaurants, and shopping.
Our home is the perfect get away for rest and relaxation. Whether you never leave the house or you go on daily excursions, there is plenty to do for everyone!
