Located in the heart of the Garden District only one block from trendy Magazine Street where you can stroll for hours enjoying art galleries, boutiques, antique shops, restaurants, coffee shops and more. Also only 4 blocks from beautiful St. Charles Avenue where the streetcars take visitors and locals from uptown to downtown and back. St. Charles Avenue is where the Mardi Gras parades are celebrated and connects all points of interest in New Orleans.
The owners have carefully decorated the home in eclectic furnishings including antiques and modern decor. This incredible home boasts 14 foot ceilings and beautiful hardwood floors with stunning architectural details. A total of 5 bedrooms, one king and 4 queen beds plus an ensuite dressing area with full bath for 4 of the bedrooms. Living room and den each has a sofa that opens to a queen bed and serve as additional sleeping spaces.

Virginia and Jim manage this historic Garden District home for a special friend who loves New Orleans but does not live here year round. After restoring their c 1850 New Orleans home following Katrina, Virginia and Jim received an award from the Historic District Landmarks Commission for outstanding excellence in historic restoration.
