This Cabin is 1700 square feet. It offers a downstairs living area with an upstairs loft/game spot and 3 large bedrooms. We have hardwood floors, tile and carpet for new home look, with many extra touches you expect to find in a Tahoe Cabin. The inside is trimmed with pine and oak with high-ceilings making you experience the full Tahoe effect.
Our beautiful home is located in the "banana belt of Lake Tahoe". While we get the driveway plowed every 3" of snowfall, it's important to know that there won't be scary driving or parking conditions around here. The driveway is flat which is also important in the winter!
The views out the loft and living rooms windows are all trees, and in the winter they get fully covered in snow making for a very picturesque scene. The home is kid-friendly as we have one ourselves and we also use this cabin.
For summer time, Boca lake and Stampede lake are close by for boating/jet-skiing. Donner lake is 15 minutes away. There are many trailheads for biking and hiking are close by, and the home is very close to some of the best truckee river fly-fishing in Tahoe!
For winter time activities, we are 5 miles from downtown Truckee, 8 miles to Northstar ski resort, and 25 miles to Reno. Alpine, Squaw, and Sugar Bowl ski resorts are also within close driving distance!
We have great wireless connectivity for those of you who are so inclined to use the computer, and two large Hi-def TVs for movies and video games. We also have lots of board games. There also is a Sirius home setup for all the digital music you might want to play!
