Great Layout

This house was the perfect layout for our group. We were celebrating our daughter's 30th birthday and surprised her by inviting a few couples from her recent wedding party. One of the couples has an infant, so we had the top floor as the quite zone (for the baby, her parents, and the parents of the birthday girl). We were all able to meet in the middle for meals and board games. The downstairs gameroom was great and we all spent lots of time playing pool and video games. There were enough beds downstairs to accommodate the other 'surprise' guests. To top it off it snowed all night Friday and all day Saturday ~ Beautiful!

My wife and I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your chalet at Shaver Lake. Your home is furnished wonderfully and we enjoyed our stay this past weekend immenesly. Two of our children met us at your chalet for the weekend as we were all in Shaver Lake to attend a wedding. Our daughter's family came from Goodyear Arizona to attend the wedding and her two children had never been in the snow before. Their ages are 3 and 7, it was exciting for them and for us to see them experience snow for the first time. We had a wonderful time being together as a family and your home was the perfect place for us to meet. I would have to think hard to offer you a suggestion for improvement, as its perfect as it is. Thank you very much for sharing you chalet with our family.

WE spent 3 1/2 days at this wonderful cabin - such a lovely place that "cabin" does not do it justice. Our extended family celebrated an 80th birthday and a 21st birthday and we had a blast. There were enough beds for everyone and the pool table, video games and bbq got vigorous work-outs as did the various kitchen appliances! With fantasy football in full swing and college students needing to submit work and family who could not join us wanting to Skype into the event, the wireless internet connection was so appreciated. we all loved this cabin and plan to return next summer.

3 families had an awesome 3 night stay at this cabin. Will was great to work with and was very responsive with all my inquiries. The property management company was also easy to work with and check-in was a breeze. The set-up of the cabin was perfect with 5 tween/teenage kids (they loved their own space in the play room/basement and loved the bunk beds), and there was plenty of room for the other 6 adults. To our surprise (we weren't prepared), it snowed on our 2nd day there. However, the kids loved it and the adults got a chance to relax watching the Indy 500 and movies. We stopped in Fresno to pick up groceries and cooked all of our meals at the cabin. We would love to stay here again during summer months and see what the lake has to offer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This is a great cabin. It is very spacious and gives lots of room for multiple families to have privacy. It is nicely decorated and clean. The master bedroom is huge with an awesome tub. The kitchen is nicely stocked for cooking. Our summer experience was so great I am hoping to go back in the winter time. The game room was awesome for the kids and the balcony was very peacful. I have stayed at many cabins in Shaver and this rates at the top of my list!

This is a fantastic condo. The kitchen was fully stocked. There was so much room and everyone had their own room to sleep in. The kids had a blast down stairs playing games and the adults could relax on the balcony. It is was very close to the lake where the kids enjoyed swimming and just across the road we walked to see the Musick Falls. Great vacation and can't wait to stay here again.

We love staying at this house. We go with a few families and there are plenty of beds. It is great to have all of the kids downstairs by the game room!! We will definitely be back!

We cannot wait to go back! My wife and I had a wonderful Anniversary weekend at the chalet. It was so romantic! We had a great time! And the Bartels are wonderful hosts, making sure everything at the place is just right! It is decorated very nicely, and there is a ton of room. We could have brought the whole family up (or a couple families), but it was our anniversary, so I think not! Highly recommend and will go again!"

We stayed for a week with 8 adults and 4 teenagers. With 5 BR and 4 BA we never felt crowded. The Cabin is new and very clean. The furnishings are comfortable. We will return.

This was a great property to rent! It worked beautiful for our family, everything is exactly as described. Rooms were spacious, great closet space and dressers. Everyone had something to do at this place. Note: This was the first property we have rented off of the VRBO website that we had to bring our own linens which was not a problem as long as we knew that up front. (they offer a linen service at an extra charge). We would recommend this clean excellent property anytime. Call me if you have any questions about our stay.
