We had a really nice time. The house was perfect for us (nice kitchen and very clean) and the beach was great (warm water and fun surf). Topsail is very low key...not a lot to do but hang out at the beach or pool. Great place to relax and recharge.

What a relaxing fun vacation we had on Topsail island. The house was great. The views were beautiful. The T-Storms were short and incredible to watch over the ocean at night! (We love storms). This house was perfect we fit 3 families comfortably. The stores and restaurants were close by and we recommend to explore the town, a lot of fun spots to shop and eat. The beach was beautiful and great boogie boarding, my kids wouldn't get out of the ocean! It was also not crowded at all. We will definately be back to Topsail!

The house was beautiful and very roomy. We had beautiful weather and spent most of our time at the beach. The beach was wonderful and we had fun watching the dolphins swim by. They were so close we thought we could almost touch them. One day we drove to Wilmington and enjoyed the water park and a couple of nights we stayed on the island and went to the putt-putt course nearby, the only one nearby. We ate at a couple of the restaurants on the island and had no complaints. We wish that there was a few more things to do for the kids in the evenings but we made it work.

We had a lovely week on Topsail Island. The house was perfect for our family. We watched the sunrise and walked the beach daily. On cool/rainy days we put together puzzles, read books in the spacious living room or watched cable tv. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to work in. Sure love the view of the ocean from the kitchen sink. Thanks for a memorable week. And.... while we were there, our daughter's boyfriend asked if he could marry her. We just got the phone call ---she got her ring this morning. Your home is now in our family lore forever!! :)

Had a great time on Topsail Island. The home is as advertised in the pictures, ocean view from the deck was nice sitting on the rockers. The beach was great, plenty of room and sometimes you had the beach to yourself. We used the tennis courts which were very close. The beach & pool is within a very short walking distance. Stump sound is definitley one of the nicer Developments on the island. I don't think very many homes are rented in this area. Local restraunts (info at the house) were within short driving distance as well. This was a very relaxing vacation away from all the commercialized mess.

We enjoyed our stay at this house and especially enjoyed the beach access as well as the swimming pool and community. The house was very clean and accomodating to our needs. We would definitely go back again.

We cannot sing enough praises about this beach house with the beach just a short walk away from the front door or Topsail Island. Our vacation was perfect from start to finish.... we enjoyed jet skiing, kayaking, shelling, watching the dolpins at play in the ocean, kite flying and so many other activities. The "year-round" residents at Stump Sound are all so friendly and helpful, we visited with them like we had known them all our lives! Did I mention the food? There are many great restaurants serving HUGE platters of ocean delicacies or good ole down home Southern cookin'. What a wonderful place to have the perfect vacation!!

Topsail Island must be the best kept secret in the country. A gorgeous, uncrowded beach with lots of great restaurants, suberb fishing and very nice people. The house was just beautiful and those decks overlooking the ocean and sound made for some fond summer memories we won't soon forget. Thanks Michelle and Erik.

My family had a wonderful time at this unspoiled island. The house was in a very private location, only several yards from the beach. The house was everything as advertised and then some. On the one rainy day we had, the large living room/family room gave everyone more than enough space. The house to say the least was very comfortable and I can't say enough about how responsive the landlord was to answering our questions before we arrived. If you have never been to N.Topsail, I would very much recommend it for a peaceful time away. Don't look for hi-rise buildings and tons of commercial activity; you will have to settle for lots of open beaches, fresh fish, and a few great restaurants. Bring a book, a boogie board, sunscreen, and enjoy! I know we did.
