For everyone who's ever been looking for a real cabin in the woods - you have finally found it! The structure is an original cabin, although the interior has had many upgrades. Remodeled kitchen with granite counter tops and a wine cooler, newer furniture and a wonderful outdoor hot tub in a beautiful, private, mountain setting with more trees around than you can count.
Located on Peak 7, specifically at 225 Protector Place, Breckenridge, CO 80424, you are just minutes away from the Breckenridge Ski Area for fun all day, and close to town if you can tear your self away from the comfort and quiet peacefulness of the cabin.
The house is two stories. The main (downstairs) level has the kitchen/dining/living area all open to each other for easy socializing. The laundry room and Master bed and bath are also on this main level. The Master bedroom has a King bed.
Upstairs are the other two bedrooms and second bath. One room has a Queen, and the second with a bunk bed + a twin trundle. (a twin with a twin underneath that pulls out).
As you are sitting, relaxing on the deck, you can enjoy the beautiful pink skies at sunset, or watch for shooting stars at night in the hot tub.
When you think of Colorado and your perfect "mountain vacation" this is the house you envision!
We know how hard it is to leave your furry friend at home, so your welcome to bring your dog along too. They especially like the hiking and snowshoeing!

We had an amazing time staying in this cabin. It had everything and more than we needed to have a comfortable and inviting stay. The location provided a nice escape but very close to downtown Breckenridge. We would definitely recommend staying in this cabin.

this is a great house, needs a little TLC, but otherwise very comfortable. Beware of the parking situation. The parking area is parallel parking to either side of the stairs, BUT, only if the snowplow decided to plow it! The property manager did NOTHING to clear the parking and we got issued notices of impending towing for parking where the manager told us to park. Other people along the road got $60 tickets. Upon knowledge of this problem the manager called the road crew but did NOT clear the parking areas. We had to shovel our way into the stairway over 4 feet of snow plow debris. Every morning was greeted with a fear that we would have NO CAR.
Owner response:I've never had to respond to a review before, but truly feel that this review is over the top and not really accurate. Yes, it is true that for this guests stay there was an issue with the snowplowing and agree with it being unfortunate and frustrating - although, the situation was addressed on almost a daily basis. For the guest to say I did NOTHING about it, is really an untrue and false statement. The property is located in an unincorporated section of Breckenridge where the town plows out the parking area to this house along with the main access road. As I was notified of the problem from the guest, I called the town and questioned why this area is all of a sudden not getting plowed. It turns out there is a new driver on this route who was unaware that this area should be plowed. Also, after being notified by the guest that the sheriff's office had left notices on their vehicles, I called the Sheriff's office to explain the scenario and asked these vehicles not be towed. As I said, this situation was unfortunate and inconvenient, but I feel it's harsh and inaccurate to blame this on me and again, say I did nothing about it. I feel I did everything I could within my power, made multiple phone calls to the government people in charge, and have resolved the problem. The parking is again being plowed. Overall, there were no vehicles towed or fined, the parking area is being plowed as per normal, and everything is back on track. I would suggest that future guests know this situation has been resolved and would certainly not expect this to happen again any time soon. There most certainly is parking for this house with easy access. I have been in this business for 18 years, take pride in the properties I represent and the customer service that I offer. If anyone feels further clarification is needed, I encourage you to call me as I am happy to discuss, explain and answer any questions. Thank you.

My son, daughter and I stayed here as part of our summer vacation for four days. The pictures on the internet were accurate. The rooms and spa were very clean. We really enjoyed it!
