Year Purchased: 2001
We have owned our 2nd home in Breckenridge for 10 years and have loved every minute of it. During winter we, us and our 14 year old son, spend almost every weekend up skiing and snowboarding together as a family and typically are joined by another family for a great party. It is so nice to walk to the mountain and be able to stop home for lunch and a break and be close enough to walk back to finish off the afternoon. The snow this year has been great and the events on the mountain, like ski and snowboard cross, The Dew Tour Ski & ride competition and The Mountain Dew challenge are fun not to be missed. The town events are equally as enticing with Snow Sculpture weekend (a favorite for all), light of the Town Christmas tree and Santa Clause in a real sleigh (snow permitting), Ulr Fest, October Fest, the Duck Race, Ski Swap, Wine Tasting, Jazz Fest... to name a few.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We chose Breckenridge because of the family focused atmosphere and the town. There are so many things going on all the time to enjoy being together as a family. This is truly a winter (and summer) wonder land that gives us just tons of relaxation and smiles.
