This 3000 square foot luxurious Breckenridge home was newly built and furnished in 2007. The house is located less than 5 miles from town and skiing with outstanding mountain views. Comfortable and elegant, it comes fully equipped with top of the line furnishings and amenities and sleeps up to 11 people.
Bedroom configuration:
Upper level- Huge master bedroom with king bed, desk, private deck, and large master bath;
Main level- Two bedrooms with queen beds, one with an additional pull-out twin bed, and one full bathroom;
Ground level- Bunk room and play area sleeps five with two sets of bunk beds and a twin trundle. Great for kids. One full bathroom.
All beds have down comforters, 100% cotton high quality linens, and brand new top of the line mattresses. A Pack-n-Play crib is also available.
All three full bathrooms have granite counters and custom finishes. Master bath has a large 2 person jetted tub and double sinks.
Large, bright, comfortable great room with modern furnishings, gas fireplace, and beautiful mountain views; 48" plasma TV and surround sound stereo and DVD system. Bring your IPOD...stereo has an IPOD docking station.
Additional plasma TV and DVD system in playroom/bunk-room; third TV in master bedroom; wireless internet throughout house.
Gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters; fully stocked with all new utensils, dishes, glassware, cooking tools, pots and pans, and small appliances; island counter seats 3; beautiful dining area with table that seats 10 and mountain views.
Large deck with 8 person hot tub and gorgeous views of 14,000 foot Mt. Quandry. Hot tub is professionally cleaned and maintained weekly. Large dining table on deck; gas BBQ grill; access to deck through glass doors in great room and dining area.

Why the Owner Chose Blue River
This location is great - it's very close to town, yet has a definite "getaway" feel. Directly behind the property is over 1,000,000 acres of National Forest land. We like being on the South side of Breckenridge because there is very little traffic to and from town because I-70 feeds from the North side of town.

Our Breckenridge house is owned by two families who love the outdoors and especially skiing! We use the house quite a bit and therefore keep it in great shape and only rent it out on an occassional basis. The property manager and builder is a long time friend of the family and lives right next door so we always have everything well maintained and kept at the highest standards.

I just returned from a great long weekend meeting my daughter and son. My only regret is that it was far too short a stay. The home was everything we expected and wanted. The hot tub was super and convenient, the rooms comfortable and well appointed and the kitchen was perfect as we love to cook! This was actually a preliminary visit and next year plan on returning with the complete family! The gas grill was conveniently located right outside the dining area. The stereo was easy to use with the iPod dock and the Wi-Fi was great to have (although a vacation weekend, still had to stay connected). We would recommend this to anyone without hesitation. Had a great time! The family ( 2 adult daughters, son-in-law, and 6 week old grandson) had the most relaxing week in a long time! Location was fabulous, away from crowds in Breckenridge, but not too far that we didn't go into town every night. The house was exactly as described and pictured on this website. It worked great for our daughter, son-in-law, and grandson as they took over the entire bottom floor. Our 25 year old daughter had the main floor bedroom and we had the Master bedroom upstairs. There was even a spare bedroom on the main floor as well. We relaxed nightly in the hot tub, cooked 3 or 4 family dinners in the well equipped kitchen, played games in the large great room and would have loved to have a fire in the backyard but the weather did not cooperate! Neighbors were very friendly. Great neighborhood. We didn't encounter any problems what so ever. This was our first time to Breckenridge and plan on coming again next year because of this house, very easy to get to town, within a 40 minute drive to Vail, very close to Frisco, Dillon, Keystone, Copper Mt. and with lots to do. Most likely will stay 10 days instead of 7 next year!

Very accommodating for our family of four. Also, I accidentally left some jewelry and the housekeeping staff were very honest and prompt in returning everything. My impression is that the owners manage the property exceptionally well. My young girls loved the play area and bunk beds stocked with games, toys, and their own media center. To top it all off, we had the most beautiful, romantic snowfall during December. It was breathtaking from the great room views. And even though a gourmet chef will be satisfied with the kitchen ensemble, don't forget to try Daylight Donuts. :) Thank you from Texas

This property was perfect for our party of 10. The great room had enough space for all of us to mingle when we weren't on the slopes. When we arrived, the home was warm and the hot tub was ready to enjoy. The kitchen had every utensil you could think of to prepare meals. The rooms were very nice (especially the master) and quite spacious. The bunkroom is perfect for a guys or girls trip or a family with children. The layout made the 3,000 sq/ft home feel like it was 4,000 sq/ft. I can't say enough about the property. Also, in regards to the water flow in the showers, the water pressure is fine. The shower heads are place higher than what I consider average (which I prefer) and I believe this may be the reason people notice a difference. Regardless, the water pressure is just as good as any home or hotel. Lastly, dealing with the owner was easy and flawless. He was very responsive and even checked in via email during our stay just to make sure everything was in order. I would absolutely stay in this home again (and I'm not that easy to please). Cheers!

This was a great find for our two couple summer mountain vacation. The house was in great condition and was the perfect spot to stay. The owner was very responsive as we worked through the rental process and answered any questions we had. The only downsides we found to the house was that the water pressure in the showers was weaker than we would have liked, but decided that was probably a function of the location not the house. We'd also recommend the owner install wifi or internet connection as the homeaway.com description claimed both, but we weren't able to find either. Overall though, we'd recommend this home and would definitely rent it again.
Owner response:We do offer wi-fi, will make it more clear as how to access. Am upgrading the shower heads which will help with the pressure quality.

This was an incredible house to stay in on our mountain vacation. The accomodations were immaculate and worked very nicely with our large group. The reservation process went very smoothly and the property manager was very quick to respond to any question we had. I would highly recommend this home and will be looking forward to trying it out in the winter next time. The home was located very close to town and had a hiking trail right in the backyard. Lots of fun in the summer!!

This house was truly amazing. It was a group of young kids who had a blast there. It met all of our needs, the kitchen great, iPod dock is key, hot tub the best. I would recommend this for anyone we were extremely satisified with our choice.

The home was perfect for two families with children. The eight of us really enjoyed the home and all ammenities. It was close to town but away from the ski crowd. We will definitely stay again in the future and highly recommend to others looking to stay in Breck.
