My name is Leon Hasenjager and together with my wife Rosemary, we own Hasenjager's Country Home. Located in Juddville, Only 1/2 mile to beach & 1 mile to the Orchards Golf Course, Restaurant & Driving Range. A great place to spend time away from home. Call for special off-season rates. Great place for winter snowmobiling, close to all the trails and to Peninsula State Park.
Located on over 2 acres of land for your complete privacy. A large yard and outside deck with a picnic table and gas grill & firepit. The house can accommodate up to 7 people. It has 3 sleeping bedrooms. It has a large living room area, dining room and large kitchen. There are 1 1/2 bathrooms. Just the perfect size for a couple or for the large family, or share with another couple and split the cost.
We have now added Hi-Speed internet with Wi-fi available at the house.
The well-equipped kitchen has all the utensils you will need plus a dishwasher and a microwave. A large refrigerator and a full size stove. It also has a washer & dryer. For your enjoyment there are two color TV’s and DVD player. It has air conditioning and heat, Great for the spring, summer, fall or winter season. We now have kayaking rentals next door.
We are open year around. We rent Saturday to Saturday for weekly stays. We rent by the week only during July and most of August. Other times we rent daily usually requiring 3 night minumum stay. Check-in time is 3:00 P.M. and check-out is 10:00 A.M. Linens are provided. No towels, no daily maid service. Prices are for 2 adults. Children 12 and under stay free when with parents. We accept M/C and Visa credit cards.

My family and I stayed at this location June 16 - 19, 2011. Upon arrival, we weren't certain we were at the right location because the sign on the garage and on a bench said another couple's name (not the owner's). But as it turns out, the owner's parents had previously lived in the home, which explains the name. The house was fully furnished with pots, pans, grilling tools, a coffee maker, utensils, bowls, spatulas, salt/pepper, paper towels, etc. We had difficulty figuring out how to turn on the oven and then after the oven had been on for a while the fire alarm went off several times due to it being a gas oven. But regardless of these minor hiccups, we really enjoyed our stay at the home. There is a fire pit in the back yard and lots of lawn space for kids to run around. They have plastic chairs to sit on around the fire pit and also have metal rods to use when toasting marshmallows (they thought of everything!). We grilled one night and the grill worked well. The location was great. It's literally right next to a kayak shop and a winery is nearby up the road. The price was affordable and the owners were great! We'll definately be back!

Our family has stayed here three times. It is wonderful, and we cannot imagine staying anywhere else anymore! The house is clean and cozy and has everything you will need to make your stay more enjoyable and comfortable. There is plenty of space for your family to spread out and relax. The kitchen is beautiful and easy to cook in. Plenty of storage space in the kitchen and closets! We love the outside fire pit for roasting s'mores under the night stars, We've seen many shooting stars there! The owners are delightful and eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It is conveniently located in Door County to just about everything. The only thing I could see being a problem is perhaps if someone were elderly and had to make it upstairs to sleep; the steps are rather steep and narrow. There is a bedroom on the first floor as well so they could sleep downstairs. This is not an issue for us, so it is not a problem. In the meanwhile, I highly recommend this property. We love it and look forward to returning again next year!
