BUSHYHEAD LODGE welcomes you to the mountains with luxury and privacy so you may experience a true escape. Surrounded by woods and a view of the Cohutta mountains, you feel close to nature, not other cabins. The tasteful decor is rustic luxury with soft down comforters and fluffy towels to wrap yourself in. You won't want to leave but charming downtown Blue Ridge is only 15 minutes away.
As you enter the MAIN LEVEL an open living plan with high ceilings and plenty of windows lends a spacious feeling. There is a well equipped kitchen for those who wish to stay in and cook or use the gas grill on the deck. The dining area comfortably seats six with two barstools at the island providing additional seating. The living area's leather sofas and gas log fireplace provide an inviting spot to chat, watch TV or just enjoy the view. One of the three Queen bedrooms is on this level with its own french doors leading onto the large deck with log patio furniture to relax on. A full bath is also on this level.
Following the stairs to the UPPER LEVEL is a loft area with a futon and a trunk filled with all you need to make this into an extra bedroom. A wooden checker table is also here for your pleasure. The oversized master bath has a seperate shower and jetted jacuzzi tub with double vanities. The second Queen bedroom opens through french doors to its' own private balcony with rockers to enjoy the view.
The LOWER LEVEL has a game room with pool table and darts for fun together time. French doors lead out to the patio with hot tub. The third full bath is also on this level as well as the third queen bedroom with its' own french doors leading to the hot tub patio. A firepit is also outside to roast marshmallows and enjoy.
We provide all linens,paper products (including coffee filters & garbage bags) and soaps you will need (dishwasher, hand, laundry & bath soaps) and a hairdryer. This means less you have to pack!

Should you desire to explore the area, you are a half mile from the Benton Mackaye hiking trail (Specifics on cabin directions). Horseback Riding and Fightingtown creek is also this close. Venture a little further and you are 15 minutes from the downtown area with charming shops, Scenic Railway, a live theatre, drive-in theatre, playground and a great little coffe shop (L&L Beanery) that has free wi fi if you want to bring your laptop. Many fabulous festivals are held here as well.Restaurants, grocery stores and gourmet food shops including Merciers Apple Orchard are all nearby. Hiking, fishing, Blue Ridge Lake, Toccoa River, waterfalls are here for your outdoor fun.
