We had a wonderful time staying this year for the first time in this lovely home. It had everything we needed. The pics are good but the house is nicer than the pics give. The owners really took alot of time decorating and making sure everything down to really nice pot and pans!! I had 4 teenagers that took over the pool in the afternoons and rode the bikes everywhere! They actually beg to stay! Steve was really easy to work with, I had no problems with any of the reservations and directions. The book was very detailed that they provided with all the information about the house, parking, restaurants and all the other information needed. Thanks again for letting us use this property for another family fun and rememberable vacation!!
Owner response:Thanks so much. The pleasure was our's. I hope you'll come back next year.

My family of 13- ages 3-57- stayed at this property 8/8-8/14. We had a wonderful time and didn't feel crowded at all. The owners are more than willing to answer any questions and are very quick to respond. The two levels of living area was especially nice. We received "rental" info prior to arriving- the how-to's, what-not's and so on- and that proved extremely helpful as we were able to acquaint ourselves with the property before arriving. The location was great- close to everything we needed but still felt private. The chair lift was helpful too.The photos don't quite reflect the size of the house- it looks smaller than it actually is. I would absolutely recommend this property to someone and would return again if vacationing in Emerald Isle.

We recently returned from spending a week at your wonderful property on Emerald Isle. What a great place! We arrived to find it so clean and welcoming. We didn't have to do a thing but settle in. Best feature was the pool and all the outside furnishings (loungechairs, swing, hammocks, umbrellas, etc.) We found ourselves in the pool the biggest part of the day. As a matter of fact, some of us never even went down to the beach at all. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I must say, the "neighborhood cat" got quite a workout but kept coming back. Do you think it was because we kept feeding him? The grandkids loved him. Thank you so much for your hospitality - you provided everything - even bikes! Would highly recommend.

The house was great and we had a wonderful time. We stayed during the week of the 4th with 4 adults, two teenagers and 2 little ones. We found the house to be extremely accomodating for our needs. There was a surprise around every corner. The pool was great, plenty of hammocks to relax in and the privacey within the back yard was enjoyable. We hosted a birthday dinner for my wife and Mom. We had about 14 attend altogether and there was lots of room for everyone to sit and enjoy their meal. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. The owner Steve is very accomodating and is there to answer any questions you may have. Thanks Steve, we had a great time.

This is the third year in a row that my family and I will be staying at this property. Let me begin by saying that the owners are fabulous to work with. They will do whatever they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Whether it's helping to charter a fishing boat for your stay or providing a crib and baby swing to accommidate even the youngest traveler. This is a stunning house and property with every ammenity immaginable. The master bedroom downstairs is the ideal place to unwind from a busy day. The gourmet kitchen downstairs allows you to easily prepare large meals for entertaining. The property has a lush landscape with beautiful flowers, swings and ample deck space. The most enjoyable part of the propery for our four chidren has always been the pool area. It is fully equiped with toys and lawn chairs and even outdoor misting to add to the experience. The outdoor showers make it easy to clean off from a day at the beach. The location is ideal, only a short walk to the marina, stores and beach. Emerald Isle is a gorgeous place to visit. Some of the activities my family has enjoyed include deep sea fishing, surfing, shelling, antiquing, golfing, go-karts and of course just enjoying the beach. Fort Macon, shakelford banks and the aquarium are some must sees. I would recommend this house to travelers of all kinds. It's ideal for families, couples and even girls get-a-ways. Our children are 2, 5, 8 & 10 and over the last three years everyone has truly looked forward to and enjoyed our trips to Emerald Isle. There is something for everyone!

This is a beautiful beach home; the pictures don't come close to doing it justice. This was the perfect arrangement for my extended family and I to vacation and enjoy each other. It's like your own private resort. The decor is great and gives you such a "Welcome Home Feeling". The home is really two in one; with two kitchens and dens we had plenty of room to spread out and do our own thing while being able to also enjoy family togetherness by the pool and in the wonderful outdoor entertainment areas. One thing I really loved was the tall privacy gates surrounding the property. This enabled me to relax a little more as my toddler loved being outside. This truely is paradise found and we have already made plans to return. Enjoy!

My family say THANK YOU to the owners for sharing this beautiful home with us. We all loved the extra work they do to make the home as comfortfortable as possible. We especially appreciated all the extras for our infant babies. The swings, toys, pool items, etc. made it so much easier for us to pack the cars and have everything we needed at the house. The owners really present a showplace of flowers, palm trees, hand tile work, covered patio, large pool, and plenty of umbrellas and tables all make this the very best place we've ever stayed at the coast. The kitchen is 100% furnished and designed. It is stocked with every utensil a, cooker, pot and bowl a chef will want. We went over to the beach several times. It was an easy five minute ride to real nice public parking area. Paved parking, bathhouse, shelters, easy access ramps, showers all were provided at no charge. The teenagers just walked or rode bikes back and forth to the beach. We want to come back in the fall and next summer.
