    WOW!!!! Put this upscale oceanfront condo only steps from the waters edge on your ‘bucket list’. Located in pristine Ocean Village Resort - guests have access to a myriad of onsite sports activities at a very low cost or FREE. With an oceanfront view from every sliding glass door - it’s not hard to see why guests return again and again to this meticulously clean 3rd floor condo with elevator access. A spectacular granite kitchen and high end appliances are not only beautiful to look at – but, fun to use and segue to a wonderful candlelight dinner in a decadent dining area seating 2-6 guests. A Tommy Bahama bar with stools - allows more seating with endless views of the Atlantic Ocean. Add a wide selection of toe tapping CD’s and Direct TV music channels and voila – a fantastic evening of great food and entertainment with family and friends is born. If it’s only you and your honey - look-out, romance will bloom!!! Vaulted ceilings in the living room and dining areas lead to well appointed and very comfortable king and twin guest suites with exquisite granite vanity tops and professional décor! The fun stuff – beach chairs, tennis and golf equipment are complimentary at the condo – members only armbands provide access to all pools and recreation onsite. A work-out room located next to the Olympic size swimming pool was an added plus for our family and an adjacent tiki bar with tasty food at friendly prices showed itself very popular poolside. WE LOVED THIS FAMILY FRIENDLY RESORT!!!! The surrounding area plays host to many cut out recreational areas surfside. Our favorite ‘Bathtub Reef’ south of the resort gave us hours of snorkeling and miles of photogenic rugged coastline. The crashing surf gave multiple hours of surfing and boogie board fun for kids young and old! The owners were friendly professionals and very helpful throughout our rental transaction. It’s very apparent that they take great pride in presenting a luxury oceanfront condo with you in mind. Indubitably, serenading generations of guests for a very long time!

    Our family of four had a wonderful time on our vacation. The location was perfect- close to the pool, beautiful views and an easy walk to the beach, considering having to carry beach supplies for a 7 and 9 year old. Even beach chairs and umbrellas were provided. There was plenty of room for our family in the beautifully decorated condo that included high ceilings which added to the feeling of luxury. The kitchen was fully stocked with every cooking tool and appliance you would need. Brenda and Joe were easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely look to rent this condo again.

    This is a beautiful condo with an awesome view of the ocean. The unit is nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has a very good selection of dishware and kitchen utensils. A pool is just across the street and the beach is only a short walk from the unit. Ocean Village is a very nice resort and is away from all the hussle of the outside world to provide you a relaxing vacation.

    We had a fabulous time in this great location and all at an incredible price! I was searching the internet and came across Hutchinson Island and the great resort of Ocean Village. What a find! The condo we rented was wonderful. It has a newly remodeled kitchen that is equipped with everything we could possibly need, as well as new appliances and an oven that even had a warming drawer. Every room was perfectly clean and well organized. The best part to this Condo Is THE VIEW AND THE LOCATION. Every room has the most incredible ocean view. We enjoyed watching the sunrise in the morning and the boats across the ocean in the evening. We loved the proximity to the beach and most days shared the beach with only a handful of other people. What a paradise. The water is incredibly warm, clear and we did not experience any of the sea weed written in a previous review. We loved Ocean Village and took advantage of the free golf and tennis. We traveled with our 18 and 21 year old daughters and they loved the location and outside activities. The owners were great about sharing tips of what to do in the area and we really felt we had discovered a hidden paradise. I would highly recommend this Condo. It was in a great location at a great price

    We recently stayed 10 days at this condo and wanted to warn potential renters about our experience.We will list the pros and cons of our stay. Pros: 1. Nice room layout 2. Close to the beach 3. Gated community 4. Nice ocean view 5. Overall nice facilities 6. Plenty of parking Cons: 1. Owners refused to return our security deposit, making false clams regarding the condition we left the condo in and the time we departed. 2. Unit would be much nicer with a fresh coat of paint, thorough cleaning, especially in bathrooms!! 3. Furniture was dated. Twin bed was slanted toward the floor on one side. 4. Sheets were old and had holes. 5. Dishwasher wasn't working properly from the start of our stay and leaked onto the kitchen floor.We wasted 1/2 a morning of our vacation while the dishwasher was serviced . 6. No one at the security gate had any knowledge about our rental agreement so after a long day of travel, we had to spend 15 - 20 minutes getting thru the security gate. 7. There was no balcony overlooking the ocean as was implied in the description of this property. This was one of the main reasons we chose this particular unit. In conclusion, we had good communication with the owners until we were told they were keeping our security deposit. We have rented many condos over the last 10 years and have NEVER had a problem with any other owner. It seemed to us like a scam!!!

    Owner response: We are upset that it was necessary to withhold this renter’s $150 security deposit based on the unacceptable condition that our Condo was left in. This renter fails to point out the additional the costs we incurred for cleaning, repairs, etc. that exceeded the $150.00 security deposit. This case/complaint was thoroughly reviewed by HOMEAWAY who supported our actions. We are willing to share a copy of HOMEWAY’S letter with any concerned potential renters. We maintain our Condo to a Consistently High Standard to Exceed Your Expectations! That is only possible if each tenant treats our property with respect and adheres to the terms and conditions of our written rental agreement. Our website photos accurately show: up-to-date furnishings; linens and bedding; high end appliances, and the Extended Balcony with Panoramic Ocean Views of waves breaking on the beach, etc. We are happy to take any corrective measures to continue our excellent reputation; however, as this review is unjustified, we feel the negative comments are in retaliation (perhaps intimidate?) for the forfeiture of the $150 security deposit. We have been renting on HOMEAWAY since 2006 and have had many Repeat Renters and Positive Reviews! Thank you

    I spent hours on the internet looking for a great deal on a Hutchinson Island condo, and I found it! This place was absolutely faulous! The views from every window are fantastic and the condo was professionally decorated and immaculate. We loved walking across the dune to the beach every day, and walking to the pool with the Tiki Bar every evening for our sunset cocktail. The full gourmet kitchen put me in the mood to whip up fancy seafood dishes, and the electric juicer and blender got a workout too! Brenda and Joe were great and I would highly recommend this condo to anyone--my family and I will be back.

    Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

    This condo was everything we expected it to be. Direct oceanfront, free executive par 3 nine hole golf course, elegant decor, fantastic kitchen, two community pools, restaurant, everything we had hoped for. The owners, Brenda and Joe, were very easy to communicate with and were genuinely interested in our complete satisfaction. Laundry facilities are located within the unit, the kitchen is full-sized and fully equiped, the master closet is large. Both bedrooms and the living room have sliders that face the ocean. Good not have been more pleased with the property or the experience. *Note*: The grocery stores close relatively early, so get your food shopping done before dinnner, there's a Publix about 5 miles away (north on Route 1 behind Wendy's).

    Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    We rented this unit from 3 April 2010 to 10 April. We have been renting condo/houses for the last 12 years and this was by far the best value and best view! We had the sliders open every day and night listening to the surf that can't be but 100 yards away. the pools were heated nicely, the one closet to the condo was the warmest and least crowed, We went to the pool with the tiki bar, and while it was graet, we found it too crowded for our tastes--but the pina coladas were great. this trip we only had one of our girls with us (age 16) and her room and bath were more that satisfacory for her. the master was very nice and the bed was huge and comfortable. the kitchen pictures are as good as the real thing. the ocean village complex was very nice as well. Our one concern prior to renting was the location (the beach side of Ft. Pierce) We did not find the town all that appealing and when we went out to eat we went to easliy driveable Vero and Pt St. Luice. this is NOT a BAD thing because if you stay in those two places it's high rises.. This property does not have any commerialization around for miles---it's the beach!!!! One thing I did find puzzleing. the beach is more angled and less packed and tanner than anyother I've been on, on the east coast--i'm used to hard pack whiter and flat. it seems to be a local thing, because on the northside of the inlet it is more flat But not completely) If you want to enjoy a great beach and a great property for the $$$ this is a great find... I would come here again. So with the good here were some of things that could improve the property (IMO and I'm being picky) TV's: the tube style do make it look older than it is.( but don't change if it ups the rental price) they worked fine. the living room furntiure was not as comfortable as it looks. and for some the third floor could be a hassle but it does offer the best view. the vertical blinds could be noisy in the breeze. there was only 1 beach chair and since we flew we were dependant on what was available. (the umbrella was a nice surprise.) With some of our past rentals and more $$ (sanibel island), these neg. items would have been the highlights. Again thanks for the use of your property!!!!

    My guests enjoyed the panoramic ocean view. We are just feet from the beach and the view is unobstructed and the closest to the ocean that you can get. They enjoyed using the binoculars to see the ships at sea and stars and night.

    Thank you Joe and Brenda for making this Vacation so easy. Wonderful communication throughout. The condo is wonderful. The view is awesome. (Especially at sunrise) The kitchen is wonderful. My husband is upset because now I want him to remodel our kitchen. Our children had a wonderful time. (ages 8 and 6) They loved swimming in the pool, playing tennis, and playing golf. We all loved the easy access to the beach. It is so nice to be so close. We would swim in the ocean all day and swim in the pool in the evenings. We will return here and recommend to everyone. Thank you again for a great vacation.

    What a great experience we had from beginning to end in our 8 night rental of this property. Owners very accomodating to our travel schedule and were responsive to any and all inquiries that we had. The condo itself is absolutely beautiful. Great ocean views and an up to date, beautifully decoracted place to say -- what more could you ask for? If I could have found some way to get the complete kitchen in my suitcase I think I would have taken it!! Beautiful appliances and fully equipped, there was nothing lacking in the kitchen (nor in any other part of the condo). Traveled in August so it was very quiet and peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. Hoping our son's baseball takes us to the area next year since we would love to return.

    This condo was absolutely stunning, very immaculate. The decor was awesome. Brand new appliances. lots of on site things to do for example par 3 golf course, two pools, tennis, volleyball not to mention the best part of all directly on the ocean. Great for the moonlight stroll on the beach to fishing to the early sunrise.

    Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

    The condo itself was excellcent .. relaxing and restful.Great ocean view we loved hearing the sound of the ocean at night!! Once we were connected to the internet we were home. Looking forward to enjoying more time at this great condo. It's on the third floor great view ..but the elevator was being service that week so we had to take the stairs all week.

    My 5 person family stayed in this unit summer of 2007. The unit is custom throughout with all high end furniture and appliance. Excellent equipped kitchen and bedrooms. Walking distance of both pool and ocean. Breathtaking views from every room in the unit. No detail was missed. Thank you Joe and Brenda. This was our second stay in one of your units and it won't be the last.
