Four bedroom modified A-frame on the beautiful SOUTH end of Lake Oconee (WE ARE NOT IN BUCKHEAD), directly off Hwy 44 in Putnam County. Less than an hour and a half away from Atlanta and Augusta, and only an hour away from Athens and Macon, you will be close to everything. Located in the quiet Lick Creek area of Lake Oconee (same area of lake as Reynolds Plantation, Cuscowilla. and Great Waters), this home is the perfect getaway for a weekend, week, or month! Several restaurants and unique shops are only seconds away. House is located on a double lot, with 250 feet of Lake Oconee frontage and a huge vinyl dock with both boat and jet ski slip. Great swimming area with retractable ladder on dock. Abundant fishing structure in cove is sure to maximize your catch! Enjoy the many golf courses in the area, a day at the Ritz spa, or house guests for weddings and family reunions. Layout of house maximizes privacy so even large groups are comfortable. We are proud to say that well over half of our renters are repeat visitors.
No pets in the house please, but feel free to bring your dogs to stay in our 10 x 10 shaded kennel outside.
Four bedrooms (a t.v. in each) that include one king bed, two queens, two twins and a day bed make this the perfect family retreat. Wireless, broadband, and Ethernet internet connection provided. My family spent a fun filled week at this house. All of us agree we will come back again. The house was clean and everything you need is provided. Just buy your groceries. The owners are friendly and great to work with. The design of the house gives everyone privacy. There is even a Holland gas grill provided for your use. The dock is large. We fished off the dock, swam all day, water skied and tubed all week long. Everyone really had a fun vacation. We had no complaints. I highly recommend this house.

My whole family has stayed at this beautiful home with my friend's family an with a 17 month baby, and the experience was just beyond expectation. We have everything we need, and even things for my baby girl. The view is beautiful and the dock is very spacious. We also caught a 12 lbs catfish with our small 6 lb rod, and it took everyone's effort to land it successfully ! We forgot stuff at the house when we left, and the owner just kindly UPS them back to us without any question. What a wonderful place to stay and the fun will be in memory forever!

On the spur of the moment, I took my family to this house for Easter. It was great. The house was spacious enough for everyone. Also my kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and caught a good many fish in the late afternoon. Also the property is well lighted for enjoying the deck and backyard after dark. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this property. It is perfect for getting away. You are conviently located to the restaurants and wonderful movie theater.

Absolutely the best vacation we have had in a long time! Only a little over an hour from Atlanta and it's as if we're in another world. Great house with plenty of room for our party of 8 to spread out. Beautiful cove with very little boat traffic. Close to grocery store, shopping, golf, and movie theater. Everything we could ask for! We will make this a regular weekend getaway.

My family and I stayed only a weekend at this cozy home away from home at the lake. The house was amazing and the fishing was great(26 crappie, each over a pound right off the dock). It is perfect with all the ammenities and the owner of the house is a joy to talk to. That makes the rental experience easier. We will be going back for a week.

Located on a pretty cove at the end of a dead end road, this was the perfect getaway for a reunion weekend with family. Clean, fresh, and a great floorplan for large groups. All the important rooms look out onto the wide open lake view, and a fabulous wraparound porch draws you outside from early in the morning to late at night. New dock that can accomodate 2-3 boats and convenient location for dinner out, golf, or forgotten groceries. Everyone in our family gave it a 10! We'll be back.

My extended family stayed at this lake house over a long weekend and it had everything we could possibly need. It appeared that much of this house had recently been refurbished. Everything looked very clean and fresh. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with almost all of the supplies we needed and the bedrooms had more than enough room for all five of us. The house is on a very quiet road. We only saw one neighbor the whole time we were there. The deck had a perfect view of the lake - we could sit outside and see the kids swim without leaving the house. We will definitely stay there again. It was perfect for a family weekend getaway.
