We just stayed here in October for the second time. It is a stone's throw from beaches, crabbing, clamming and boating. The views of the lighthouse at sunset are simply spectacular! I have rented many homes through VRBO and Eva is one of the most accommodating owners I have dealt with. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. Now that I am back home I am so missing the sound of the ocean at night. We are already planning on staying here again next summer. I feel very at home here, and I'm sure you will too.

We had a great time at your place, and the views were wonderful! We crabbed everyday, and actually limited out daily, which is a first for us. We usually rent a home in Waldport, however we plan on returning to Coos bay again next year. The Master bedroom was amazing, and the bed..oh so comfy. The only small challenge for us was pulling the boat in and out daily, as we had to go onto the lawn a little. Thank you again for letting us share your magnificant home, we loved it!

So Relaxing

Just spent a week there with my family from So. California. Was so clean, relaxing and a great place for kids! Where else could you stay with an 18 month old child and have everything you needed? Very impressive. The only issue we faced was that the sliding glass door to deck from the master bedroom was extremely hard to open and close. Hopefully that will get fixed when the new deck is completed! Thanks again for a wonderful week. Hopefully we can experience your hospitality again!

We recently stayed at this wonderful home a weekend ago. It was fabulous. Comfortable with plenty of room. The fireplace was great to have on a chilly night. Beds were great and the view was amazing. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking gear and plates with plenty of room for a few cooks at a time. This was the best home we have stayed at yet and we will for sure use it again. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

I spent the weekend here with my Mom and just regret that we weren't staying longer than a weekend. When I walked in I was amazed that the ocean was RIGHT THERE! The house is lovely and set up so that you can have privacy if you want. Over the weekend I mentally planned several more get togethers there. A lovely place. Can't wait to go back.

Icing on The Cake

After travelling extensively to California and Maui for the last couple of weeks, I ended my trip here in Cape Arago. To my amazement, it was the icing on the cake! This was the first time for me to rent a home from someone I didn't know. From the very first encounter, the owner, Eva, put my mind to rest. She was helpful and informative. Upon arriving, I found the home in PERFECT order, and I am not easy to please. :) She had everything you would need for a large group, although I rented this home just for myself! To listen to the sound of the waves, crashing at your feet, while 3 porpoises swim toward the lighthouse, is truly an unforgettable moment. One you take with you forever. A few of my friends and I stayed at this beautiful home during our high school reunion. It was perfect. Very spacious with all the amenities you would need (not to mention breathtaking views and very close to Sunset Bay, in my opinion the best State park in Oregon). It is also only a short drive to Bandon Dunes. There is also cab service that is responsive and reasonable, too, if you don't want to worry about driving. My only regret is we didn't stay longer. I hope to visit this wonderful oceanfront home again.

This is a very relaxing wonderful place to stay! It is clean, and has everything you need. Your in walkinging distance to the beach, and has a beaytiful view. Best of all it is kid friendly! I highly reccommend it!

This house was perfect for our weekend trip. The location was great. Close to several beautiful beaches, Shore Acres and Charleston Marina. For the nature lovers, there is a great walking trail from Sunset Bay up to Shore Acres. There are some really great restaurants close by. I had the best fish tacos ever at a newly opened restaurant on Kingfisher Drive. Sorry, I can't remember the name but Eva might know. It's on the right hand side going to the harbor in a building that holds several businesses. We enjoy crabbing and fishing in the area and come over as often as we can. We would love to stay here again given the opportunity.

I can't say enough about this lovely place. It truly felt like home (well, assuming your home has such spectacular ocean views!) and offered every convenience imaginable, including a gas grill. The two bedroom suites are totally separate from one another and from the main living area, offering plenty of quiet and privacy. This is truly a magical place -- we'd love to return sometime during storm watching season!

The home has great views of waves, rocks and the lighthouse. Our girls loved playing at the beautiful Sunset Bay beach and we had fun hiking at Cape Arago and seeing the Christmas light display at Shore Acres (all state parks within a few miles). We also appreciated the spaciousness of the house and how well everything was maintained.

We had a great stay at the beach house. The view is incredible of the ocean, lighthouse and we even saw wet suited surfers! The house is very comfortable and everything is well cared for. We would definitely rent it again.
