  We just spent a week at the very well-maintained Papakea Resort. Convenient location, easy access to walking trails, groceries, restaurants and fantastic snorkeling. This location is one of the best on Maui. The unit was well-stocked and clean. All the necessary amenities were on hand to make our stay comfortable. Nice king size bed. Bring your own iPod player if you want tunes. The condo is situated next to the resort entrance, which means there is quite a bit of noise (since we live in the country, this was noticeable to us; city dwellers may not notice). Overall, we'd recommend this condo as a really great value for a week in paradise!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

As to the noise that you heard in the a.m. Maui is an early riser paradise so people are on the move at an early hour. (walking, hiking along the beach, coffee gathering, leaving to go on excursions, etc.) MAUI HAS IT ALL.

  Owners were easy to work with and quick with communication. Great view of the ocean. The property was clean and the photos accurately reflect the condition. The only thing was the bed is quite worn down, and there are dips on each side. Woke with sore back and hips most mornings. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

Most of our renters seem to enjoy the size and comfort the mattress provides. Happy to hear you did enjoy the view and other amenities offered.

  I just wanted to comment on our stay at this condo. We had a great time and were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The resort is well situated with beautiful beaches footsteps away from the oceanfront. Good selection of amenities nearby too. If you're undecided about booking this property...do it you won't regret it. Chris & Paula

  Ken and Nancy are so friendly and very easy to work with. We had a great time in this condo... Everything was clean and we had everything we needed right there. The staff were wonderful and the grounds are beautiful. We loved having our own kitchen to cook in, as well as multiple BBQs around the property to use. This place is a great value and we highly recommend it. Thanks Ken and Nancy for a wonderful time in Maui!

  Everything was what we expected from the photos and our contact with Ken and Nancy. We found the condo very clean and comfortable. A home away from home. The resort is very beautifully landscaped and maintained and accessible to everything you may want to do on island. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. Thanks so much - we really enjoyed our holiday.

  The pictures tell it all. What you see is what you get and more. The unit and grounds are immaculate. The surrounding area is clean and friendly. Grocery shopping and eating establishments are within easy walking distance. I would recommend this to any one, especially to those wanting to escape the big hotel experience..   Arrived yesterday. Everything plus as promised. Check in was a snap. Great parking, great unit. All amenities that you need in the unit. Friendly staff, especially Troy at the welcome breakfast. I would not hesitate to return, and stay in this unit. What an excellent value, as well as being close to shopping and tours. Ken and Nancy were very accommodating as well as helpful with all my questions. You can't beat this unit for all your needs. Thanks Ken and Nancy for being such a great host!!!

  We have had the pleasure of renting this unit for about 15 years. We always find it in immaculate condition. It is regularly updated. The property is beautiful and maintained very well. The views are beautiful. Whether you are at the pool, or lounging at the lawn, taking a walk on the beach, swimming or snorkeling in the ocean. You don't feel like you are at a hotel, usually never as crowded or noisy. The location is perfect for going into Lahaina, restaurants, ocean excursions, and beautiful beaches. We highly recommend this unit!
