This is a wonderful and tastefully decorated town house. Also our family vacation home, we have put a lot of ourselves into it.
Large bedrooms, living areas. Loft deck great for catching breezes or star gazing. Floor plan designed to give privacy to 2-10 guests.
Family, groups of friends, or two or three. Kids love it here with the quiet street to ride bikes on, (the bike rental is around the corner if they don't have their own), the beach is really close, Adults love it because it's got lots of space for everyone to read, watch TV, have a little privacy and 'get away' for a little while.
The first floor has a room with a king size bed, another with twin beds and a full bath. Lots of TV's so everyone can watch what they want; DVD, VCR.
The second floor is the living area: new kitchen fully equipped, living/dining area, ceramic tile throughout on this floor, fireplace and half-bath.tv,VCR, DVD,CD, books,games,cards
The third floor has two bedrooms,one with twin beds, the master with a king size bed. It has a newly renovated 'jack and jill' bath, and laundry facilities. The fourth floor, or the loft, which is a full bedroom and completely private, has a queen size bed and entrance to a roof-top deck where you can hear the ocean and catch the breezes.
The house is across the street - really-NOT SORT OF - from the King and Prince Hotel and Resort and perfect beach access, with beach chair concessions available in season. Perfect for a week or a month.

4:Georgia tax to be added for less than 30 days:11% UNDER 7 DAYS, 6% UNDER 14 DAYS, and to be included with your check for your rental fees.
5:WHEN WE RECEIVE YOUR RENTAL CHECK WE WILL SEND YOU A RENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE COMBINATION TO THE LOKBOX ON IT, A PAGE OF HOUSE RULES AND EMERGENCY NUMBERS. NO RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED UNTIL WE RECEIVE YOUR DEPOSIT CHECK. NO EXCEPTIONS. NOT EVEN FOR RELATIVES. ESPECIALLY NOT FOR RELATIVES.

My daughters and I first came to St.Simon's Island. They were very young but we all agreed we wanted a family house where we could spend time together. They both married, and families expanded.
We looked and looked all over the South Eastern Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico - for years! And it became more and more apparent the St. Simon's is our 'family' place. The drive is do-able, with Interstate all the way to the Causeway to the Island. There is a community feeling, with more and more year-rounders. There are loads of restaurants, some very basic, some very sophisticad. We are on a quiet, dead-end street - no major highways to cross or listen to. Everyone in our family had a request about what we bought - my daughters wanted to be able to walk home from the beach, quiet street, etc., and room for all of us to be together at the same time. We wanted someplace we could have some privacy from each other. We love it here, It can also be used for one or two people with great comfort.
Across the street from the King and Prince, the beach is about a block and a half away. We don't loose the beach to the tide every day. Quiet street where kids can ride bikes, play, etc. We can walk to restaurants, bicycle to the Pier and be out of the hub-bub of vacationers. Everything is close by, unlike our winter home which is miles to everything. GOlf cart rentals are available.There are excellent golf courses very nearby.
