Welcome to our designer furnished, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1st floor condominium on Sanibel Island. Our corner unit is located at 805 East Gulf Drive at the intersection of two deep-water canals and a mere 200 steps from the beach. Free boat dockage, picnic tables, lounge chairs, fish cleaning stations, and BBQ grilles are literally in our back yard.
Sanibel Arms is a family-friendly, meticulously maintained condominium complex consisting of 64 units in eight buildings. It's conveniently located on the east-end of the Island just a few blocks from the Causeway. Shopping, dining, and the historic Sanibel Lighthouse are only minutes away. Guests have full access to a large heated swimming pool, a private beach, and a clubhouse where popcorn, computers, and internet connections are available 24 hours a day. Wireless internet is also available in each unit.
Before purchasing our own condominium, my wife and I rented on Sanibel and Captiva Islands for almost 25 years. Being cost conscious, we always opted to stay close, but not directly, on the beach. We did, however, attach great importance to well-maintained and tastefully decorated property and furnished our own rental unit with those thoughts in mind.
Features include new appliances, cabinetry, Corian countertops; 16' ceramic tiled floors; Berber carpeting in each of the bedrooms; and a glass enclosed lanai to assure your dining or lounging comfort on cool, windy nights.
To make your stay is as enjoyable as possible, furnishings include a 46' Wall-Mounted High Definition TV and Queen-size sleeper sofa in the Great Room; King-size bed in the Master Bedroom with a 27' TV; Two (2) Twin-size beds in the Guest Bedroom, also with a 27' TV; and a full-size Washer and Dryer in the Laundry area.
Sanibel Island has long been recognized by Conde Nast Magazine as having one of the 10 Best Beaches in the world and was recently selected as a Top-10 Family Beach by a prominent on-line travel consultant. The island is known for its fabulous shelling and dedication to wildlife preservation. There are no traffic lights, street lights, billboards, or fast food restaurants on the island. And... The tallest buildings are only three stories high! It's truly a unique Florida vacation destination.
Sincerely,
Mae and John O'Kipney

Our family spent a week at Sanibel and had a great vacation - the condo was nicely decorated and extremely clean. The kitchen was also well equipped with everything we needed to cook and bake. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was wonderul. There was plenty of room for the four of us. The dock behind the condo was a huge plus and was a great place to dock our center console boat. The beach was a short walk across the street and it was a beautiful beach with fantastic shells. The condo was also in a great location to all the sites of Sanibel. We went to Cabbage Key one day by boat and to Cayo Costa State Park for shelling. Also went kayaking in the canals behind the condo and then out to the big water. Kayaking off Captiva was gorgeous. The bike trails in Sanibel were wonderful too! Thank you for a wonderful vacation place - the condo was great and we enjoyed our welcome gift that the owners had in the kitchen upon our arrival. The owner was also wonderful in providing suggestions of places to visit, things to do and places to eat - THANK YOU!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

Looking for a vacation spot in Southwest Florida? Look no further than Sanibel Island and Sanibel Arms. After a few holiday vacations, it has been a spot my family returns to every year. Everything you or your family would need is within a short distance from Sanibel Arms. Just over the causeway, the location is ideal for strolling the beach for sea shells, unique shopping, one of a kind restaurants, or even a great beach workout. Bike rentals are available, or spend the day on a rented boat and enjoy the adventure of the nearby islands. Fishermen, sun seekers or simply those looking for the quiet charm of the island will instantly fall in love. In all the years we have been coming, Sanibel Arms sets its standards high with the maintenance of the condo units, grounds, pool and club house. The staff will be more than happy to assist you in finding whatever you need to make your stay enjoyable and a memorable one.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

Sanibel & Captiva Island have been a vacation get away for me and my family for well over 25 years. As kids, my sister and I vacationed there with our parents. Now as grown adults, we still return to this beautiful and peaceful place on the west coast of Florida (Sanibel Arms). After having been in many of the units I can honestly say that this condo unit is immaculate. It is fully stocked with every amenity needed for a stay away from home. Beautiful hand painted art brightens the walls and adds a more than tropical feel to the unit. A stone’s throw from the beach where the world’s most beautiful shells can be found, or a walk out to the canal side of the condo for a view of the dolphins or other wild life is always a treat, there is even everything a fisherman could want right outside. If you are looking for a place to vacation with family or for a quiet get a way for two, you can't surpass all that Sanibel has to offer. Wonderful accommodations at Sanibel Arms, outstanding restaurants, the best shelling in the world, and all the charm of Southwest Florida.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.

Our first trip to Sanibel was fantastic. The island was very laid back with plenty of unique shopping and restaurants. If you like to cycle Sanibel has miles well maintained cycling paths. The accomodations made our stay even more enjoyable. The condo was very clean and tastefully decorated with furnishing that were recently updated. The large lanai is a great feature. We fished off the dock, which was only a few steps away, and enjoyed the world class beach that was only a short walk from the condo. We liked Sanibel and this condo so much we have already reserved it for next year.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

We loved staying in this unit. It was clean and roomy enough for the four of us. It is within easy walking distance to the beach and the pool. The kitchen has every appliance one could need and it allowed us to really keep our eating costs down. In the evenings we fished off the dock out back and caught several fish. It is so much cheaper, and roomier, than staying in a hotel. This is the way to do Sanibel!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

We have stayed in this condo twice and each time we loved it. The condo is fully equipped with everything our family needs and enjoys, and is beautifully decorated. Both bedrooms and the living room have tvs with cable which we love in the evenings as we can all watch what we want to watch. There is a washer/dryer in the condo, and two baths. The kitchen has all the amenities with a beautiful sun porch. Out back we can take the kids fishing or sit and watch the boats. Across the street in the front is the pool and beach with a beautiful view and shells galore. The island is very low key and peaceful. Its a haven for our family to stay there and we love this condo. On the island is an excellent ice cream shop (cant remember the name of it at the moment), shops, and some good family restaurants, as well as a theater, lighthouse, museum, and beautiful beaches. We are hoping to travel back to Sanibel this year once again!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.
