This cozy cottage on twelve acres in Brownsville Vermont is perfect for horses and riders, hikers, skiers and anyone wanting to relax, enjoy the quiet country roads of Vermont. The cottage is on the VAST trail network and in a perfect location for riding on Class 3 roads or cross country!
The cottage is four rooms including an open concept living room dining room and kitchen and two bedrooms. The living room has floor to ceiling windows looking down the valley and a cozy gas fireplace, One bedroom has a queen bed. The other bedroom has twin beds and a stackable washer dryer. There are large windows across the front of the cottage which allow you day and night views of the mountains.
We are close to many ski areas with endless opportunities for snow shoe or cross country skiing in the winter right out our front door. We are six miles from the Green Mountain Horse Association and only 12 miles south of Woodstock center--with easy access to that historic area including Billings Farm, the Woodstock Inn and Queechee Gorge. We're also a short drive from Dartmouth College which gives you access to all the culture and art you could desire!
About three acres on the property is fenced for horses and there is a run in shed. There are plenty of riding opportunities right out our front door. And if you are a skier or Mountain Biker, you couldn't find a better location!
The cottage has Direct TV and has a fully stocked kitchen with condiments and non-perishable items. Fresh towels and linens are provided....everything you need for a comfortable stay!
