The Lighthouse is a stunning, custom-built ocean front home, with spectacular panoramic ocean views. It comfortably sleeps 12-14 people and has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, plus a bonus room. You will find that The Lighthouse is perfect for family reunions, romantic get aways, retreats, gatherings with friends, romantic getaways, retreats and gathering with friends.The interior is beautifully decorated and features a gorgeous kitchen with granite counter tops, a gas fireplace in a cozy nook and a large family room. The home is spacious enough for all guests to enjoy their privacy. The huge dramatic deck is perfect for watching the magnificent sunsets or star gazing at night. You will sleep in peaceful tranquility, as the ocean rocks you to sleep at night. When you wake up feeling rejuvenated, you can easily enjoy a morning walk on the beach or go hiking, shopping or dine at the lovely local restaurants. If you're a surfing enthusiast, the world famous Nelscott reef wave can be seen right from the deck, or you can simply just kick back and enjoy the view, as you relax in the bubbly hot tub that faces the ocean. There is a magical quality in the air at the Lighthouse. It is named in honor of Lighthouses all over the world that guide ships safely to shore, bringing those on board home to their loved ones. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lighthouse. Fourteen members of our family stayed 3 nights. The views were incredible, the location is perfect, and the amenities of the hosue were great. The house was very clean, stocked well with cookware, towels, and bedding. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a roomy house to stay at near the beach and a tidepool.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

12/21/12 Weary and exhausted from a long year we were really looking forward to our holiday vacation. We all loved it even my husband who is hard man to please. The Lighthouse exceeded our expectations. The staff was wonderful ready to go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that we were taken care of. The house is amazing, great location, spectacular views and it has a really special quality that's hard to put into words. For the first time in months I got a good nights sleep, we all did! Waking up every day full of energy, we explored the Oregon coast which was breath taking. This was one of the best vacations I've ever had. So many times over the years I've returned from a vacation feeling exhausted. I returned from this vacation feeling rested, recharged and ready to start the New Year. Looking forward to visiting again. Highly, highly, recommend this house! Ps: our 7lb. Yorkie, Geronimo Romeo gives this house a "five bone rating"!Recommended for: People with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.

Lighthouse was a dream come true for our family vacation. We enjoyed every moment of the stunning ocean front views and relaxing in the hot tub. When we went to the beach we were steps away from beach access. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and enjoyed the luxury and comfort of this home. From the moment we made our reservation and the excellent customer service we received to the time of departure - we enjoyed every moment that we spent in this home. If you are looking for a great place for a family beach getaway and want excellent customer service, I would highly recommend this home and Seahaven Rentals. We were looking forward to our stay on the ocean, but discovered that we had to climb 124 steps down to the beach. While this wouldn't have been an issue, the company failed to let us know and actually told us that we would be able to watch our small kids come and go from the house. There is a large berm outside the home and the only way to see the beach from all angles is from the upstairs rooms. Finally, there are signs all over the house and in the contract warning us of keeping the floors clean, not parking on the street, and observing quiet hours. The floors had stains all over them, the construction workers parked in the street and began sawing at 8:00 a.m. disturbing our so-called vacation. A warning from the company for all of this would have been nice, instead, we were given false information and false hopes. We won't rent from this company again.Did you find this review helpful?
