Restaurants, music, stores and sightseeing are close by, but you are definately in a country setting. We are an easy 15 minute drive to Hanover, New Hampshire to vist Dartmouth College or Datmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
This comfortable efficiency apartment connected to our home has a ground level private entrance facing the Ottaquechee River. Our apartment is simple, clean and cozy. Wi Fi and good cell phone reception makes it easy if you want to be connected to the world. We have recently added a small kitchen to make your stay more convenient. It was the relaxing getaway that we truly needed - peaceful location, beautiful property, nice room and very gracious hosts. Perfect for us that you had a last minute cancellation! It was a great return visit to the Quechee area; I don't think either of us realized how much we had missed it. Carol and Marty made us feel comfortable, taking the time to answer our questions and give suggestions on things to do and where to eat. Loved Gracie and Waldo(their dog and cat).Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Marty and Carol are very nice and helpful and the apartment they rent is great. The view of the backyard from the living room is fantastic. The area is very quiet/peaceful and I highly recommend spending some time in the hammock in the backyard. In addition, the apartment is conveniently located to Route 4 and is less than 5 miles form Quechee Gorge and less than 10 miles from Woodstock.Recommended for: Pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.
