I was very pleased with this house and the set-up of everything. The host was also very informative and accommodating. We were taking three generations of my partners' family away for the weekend so this was a bit more complicated than my usual jaunt to the mountains. This home had everything we needed and even features we did not know we needed until we were there. The hot tub is set on the screened-in porch with an exquisite view of the tree tops and works very well. We were traveling with people who somehow thought the hot tub was bad for you, so it was only myself and my partner partaking, but there were rockers and swings for them to sit and relax while we stayed toasty warm relaxing in the tub (bonus was we couldn't hear half they said;). All the bedrooms were nicely done with quality beddings. I usually bring extra sheets with me just in case the rental has polyester sheets. Each bed had lovely high thread-count cotton sheets, and quilts or comforters to make for a luxurious sleep. I also cook the entire time I am away since we enjoy fresh organic veggies and meats from our neighboring farmers. I thought I might be in trouble because I did not bring many extra kitchen cooking items to help me with this process. The kitchen at the house had everything I needed to make beautiful meals all thru our stay. The fireplace is beautiful and definitely one of our favorite features, along with the small pool table downstairs. I never look for a rental with a pool table but it is surprising how much having the game room added to our getaway. The only negative or critique that I might add is the thermostat was difficult. We froze the first 24 hours we were there because we had the temperature adjusted but until you keep pushing buttons for the screen to say the word "heat" you will not have heat regardless of how warm the temp says it is. (smiles) Maybe the host could leave a detailed instruction on this particular thermostat control. Otherwise, I am already looking at my calendar to book another stay. Also, when our host told us this home was paved all the way, and had a cul-de-sac turnaround, I was a little afraid I would be looking at other homes everywhere. This property is the best of both worlds. You have great access so any vehicle can make the drive with ease, but once you are there, it is as if you have the mountain to yourself!

We just finished a wonderful stay at the cabin, which is truly like a second home. The cabin is spacious, very well equiped, lots of closet space (we are a bit jealous!), is very well appointed and very well maintained. The owner was lovely to deal with and easy to contact. The location of the cabin is just perfect, right at the end of a beautiful mountain road and very easy to get to. The Mountain Tops development is very upscale and peaceful and is one of the best places to stay in Blue Ridge. The view from both the screened-in porches (essential in summer!) is so relaxing and peaceful, wonderful to watch a good thunderstorm from. Although this was our third trip to Blue Ridge, it never stops being special for us. The water level at Blue Ridge Lake is now almost back to full (after renovation work at the dam) and the beaches are accessible, as well as being able to boat and jet-ski. A few great things to do in Blue Ridge is to visit the town itself, which has a good selection of stores and gift shops, shop at Mercier Orchards (love those fried pies!!), tubing on the Toccoa river and an evening visit to the Swan Drive-Inn movie theatre, all great. We would recomend this cabin to anyone, especially families.

We stayed at this cabin for a week in July. The cabin is well stocked with everything you may need. The area is beautiful, and the owner was a pleasure to work with. She even called to see if we needed anything. It was easy to get downtown or go off on and adventure. People in the community are welcoming and friendly. I strongly recommend planning your next vacation here. We didn't want to go home!

The pictures don't do this cabin justice, very beautiful place, ideal location even though the drive up that mountain road can be very intimidating with all those curves. Owner was very personable, quick to answer questions and very nice. We had loads of fun just hanging out at the cabin, playing ping pong, foosball, enjoying the hottub and watching TV. The 3 bedrooms had plenty of room, closet space and comfortable beds, ceiling fans too, just wish there was a way to slow the fan speed down in the master bedroom and living room. It was very clean and well kept, porch swing did break while we were there so I called the owner to let her know. Our directions to the place coming from the north was a little confusing, but we found it after stoppping to ask directions. The owner might want to revise them for a better explanation if you are traveling south to the cabin after passing the Home Depot, you will need to turn right at the SL, instead of going straight like we assumed. I also think there needs to be an alternate phone number in case you get locked out like we did and couldn't get a hold of the owner. I would recommend this place to stay, very reasonable and sleeps up to 10 people.

The pictures do not do this cabin justice. The views are breath taking and the home is beautiful. The perfect place for a nice quite relaxing vacation. The owners have provided everything that you need to make you feel right at home. It is located minutes from anything that you need and the residents of Blue Ridge are extremely friendly. My family and I will be returning.
