Dear JTO, Sitting in the airport in Palm Springs. Hardest time leaving JTO so far. Got my wish and had not one but three good thunderstorms. Most use I've ever made of the cowboy spa this trip. That's a brilliant thing to have out there. Hot tub in the morning, spa all during the day, hot tub at night. Rough life. I tried to turn off all automatic processes on my laptop while checking email. But, that's a great connection through the JTO mi-fi. Thanks again for having such an amazing place!

Hello JTO, Just back from the desert with my wife Deva, and wanted to take a minute to thank you for sharing the JT Oasis with us. We had a spectacular time. You were right about the spring bloom! We have been visiting JT for many years and this is the best we have seen. In the time we have been frequenting JT, we have stayed in many other homes, and I’ve got to say the Oasis is our absolute favorite. From the setting, layout, décor, landscape, attention to detail, and your hospitality, it is a really special place. Thanks for letting us stay in your house over thanksgiving. We had an incredible time and your house is truly amazing. You put a lot of love into the house and the garden and the location is just great. We didn’t move the car in 4 days… we never stayed at such a great location! We fell in love with this place the minute we walked in the door. The house itself is beautifully decorated and welcoming, with amazing views all around. My husband and I went with some friends for an extended weekend and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, relaxing in the hammock, hiking in the state park just minutes away, and unwinding in the hot tub. It was everything we needed for a tranquil getaway, and we were constantly amazed by the scenery. During our stay we were treated to everything from clear, starry skies and fiery sunrises to storm clouds and strong winds, but it was all part of a wonderful desert experience. We even saw a roadrunner on the deck on our last day there! We're already looking forward to returning here again in the future - we thank the owners for sharing their amazing home with us.

We just wanted to Thank you for the JTO experience! We had such an amazing time! The landscape just had us in awe the entire time! With rain showers in the area, the power went out early Saturday morning for a couple hours. We made tea (gas stove! Nice!) and watched the storm pass thru on the couch! We couldn't be happier! We had a wonderful holiday at JTO and wanted to thank you for the use of your home. We were quite impressed with the lovely design of the house and the way it seamlessly accommodates the surrounding desert. My boyfriend is an architect and he admired the many interesting details of the house and the artistic décor – particularly the well placed rusted tin cans! We made good use of the Cowboy tub after our morning hikes and in the evening as the sun set. You have created a magical environment in which we found peace and tranquility – a rare treat. There are not enough words....to describe how awesome of a place Joshua Tree Oasis is! We have stayed at MANY VRBO homes in 8 years....THIS HOUSE was the best! It was so homey...so comfortable, so quite, serene....just outstanding. The owner was great in handling the reservation...the house, the land it was on was just wonderful. We hope to come back to stay again...and again! If you love nature....love the outdoors....you will just dig this vacation home! Thank you Ethan.

Tomorrow morning we'll be on our way. It's hard to believe we've been here at JTO for a week. It went by so fast. And then on another level, I feel like I've been here forever--like the rocks. I drew and wrote in your guestbook. But I thought I'd thank you this way, too. We, like so many before us, had a wonderful time. The setting of your house and the house itself are spectacular. The Wireless worked splendidly--fast and hitch-free. Thank you for keeping it so well and sharing it. Very romantic getaway. My girlfriend and I fell in love again at Joshua Tree Oasis. We were so inspired by the amazing house/jacuzzi views, the wild-life and all the incredible home decor that we will definitely return soon. It is a lovely place to be active and relax at the same time. Highly recommend! It is also a stones throw away from Joshua Tree National Park.
